Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid.

He was a forest
fire
and I was the
oxygen
that enabled him to
grow.
He burned
everything
in his path, leaving
nothing
untouched by his
flames.
I blamed
myself
for all the destruction he
caused,
even though he scorched
me
worse than anything.*

Holly
I would do absolutely
Anything  right now to be
Able  to snuggle up next  to
You, bury my head in your chest,
And  interlock  my fingers with yours.
I'd be  able to look up at you and
Smile whenever i wanted to.
I'd  be  able to lean up kiss you whenever
I wanted to.
I'd be able to tell you how  i feel about you whenever
I wanted to.

Amitav Radiance
Rush not to her door
And startle her from slumber
Among her dreams
She treads with languid steps
Her heart beats softly
Soaking in the radiance
Unwrapping herself with ease
Letting herself bare
To grandeur of the landscape
Immaculately manicured garden
Golden rays welcome her
With open arms
Follow her footsteps
Lightly as they kiss the ground
Not aware of your presence
She’s yearning for you
Waiting for you to sneak in
And occupy here lonely chambers
Fill her life with your aroma
Rejuvenating the dreams
To become a constant reality
Rush not to her
She whispers her innermost feelings
To the trusted winds
Convey to you, the famed words
A celebration awaits the souls
As soon as you enter her dreams
Unaware of your presence
You take your time
Her door shall open for you
And there you both will be
For love’s till eternity
Dreams become a reality

Rays of the morning sun
Encroached the attic
From a very notorious
Broken piece of window
Exposed the little specks of dust
Suspended
In the rotting wooden walls.
Some sticking in the peeling paint
Some lying
On her mother's once famous cookbooks
Now being devoured
By selfish
silverfish and fungi.
The dust
Telling stories of her childhood
Settled upon the rocking horse
And her favourite little music box
And a carton full of holiday polaroids.
The dust
Such a dry commodity
Moistened some old memories.
Reminiscence.
Isn't it amazing?

I wrote this little piece after a friend of mine suggested the word "Dust" to write about :)

Twist in remorse but dont endorse change
kiss all my sores then make more of the same
smile at my face then replace all your teeth
guile's not your strength I see fangs underneath
shout with your voice make a choice to conceal
out are the words but unheard is what you feel
the one, together forever we've made what we are
the sun's my attention not to mention...it's only a star
