A flat in Town

Tomorrow most of the time there is one, but for some, the unlucky
who died the day before, and rest in a coffin in a cold church, the tomorrow came too late,
I will be moving into a flat on the fifth floor in Loule.
See many roofs and if I stand on a ladder also see the Atlantic Sea and with binoculars
catch a sight of a passing ship.
Life will be so easy take the lift down to the street walk into
a café and drink coffee; I usually make my coffee but what the hell.
There is a park nearby with pretty flowers and tame trees.
The bank manager shakes her head did some calculation asks me about
my age and before I can push the question away with a joke my wife stepped
in and told
What I cannot tell anyone if the loan I need is refused, I will look mournful
yet relieved that I do not have to write poetry  about the colours on flat roofs
and the sea is forever green I do not need a ladder to know this.
i am a young dude

a very cool young dude

i am happy all the time

then a bully came up to me

and said

i will take your young dude away

you see i go to the movies

and i see a flick that is grand

and then this bully came up to me and said

i will take your young dude

i don’t want that for i am cool, man

the coolest dude in the world

i said you can’t take my young dude away

because you are a spas

i am a young dude

a cool young dude

i love life oh yes i do

then this bully came up to me

and took my young dude away

i love life oh yes i do yeah

i will party like a young dude does

sure i might be disabled

but i am better than this bully

oh yeseree

i might be a spaz i might be a geek

or even a dweeb

but no bully in their right mind

will ever take my young dude away

Those who want it can't feel it
There lies the balance

of what resides
inside of me and you
no mirror is required
disguised by habit,
face and clan
spirit is floating above soil breathing
be it aimlessly
on route to shop,
drink, snort, **** it off.
the world is born
and carried on heads
then a big bang
the end, credits from friends
breathing the same air
that laughed at agony
again and again
him and her,
time ***** out of us
that thing
we can’t see.

a traveler lost
is a destination
out of reach
seeker of ancient patches of soil

the migrant soon discovers
borders separate levels of poverty
home is here
see

a destination out of reach
without fees
without land
without love
without humanity

do you know where
you are headed, traveler?
let us drink
more water and beer
and thank the ones with loose mouths
for their oral culture

ask those in front
for way of passage, they say
listen to the loose mouths traveler.

Let there be light
Within my heart
Let me learn to love
Myself and others all the same
Let those who broke my heart
Have a good life
Filled with soft lessons
And kind guidance
Just like it's there for me
Let me learn to be that
Soft voice, that kind guidance
When I really need to
Let the boys have a good season
And free me from
The grudges and the love
That fills my heart.
I have not deserved this burden
But I'll carry it with grace nevertheless.
Just show me that path
That makes it count for something.
Show me how to find balance again.
As the night came,
the stars are out

Here I am outside,
my parents yelling at me to come inside

Ignoring them and just chilling,
they even don't know what the feeling

Fresh air keeping me away from depression,
stops me for thinking anything

My mind right now is thinking about this myth,
if a person dies they'd become a star

I wonder if I die,
where or what would I be, a star or a ghost or what-so-ever

Staring at the waxing crescent moon,
while listening to my favorite music

Out here all night satisfies my whole life.
oh yeah
