I caught a glimpse
Of you
In the twilight, baby
A pink and purple
Like the sky
And everybody was
Taking notice of you, girl
And you don't even know
You turn 'em on.
I create these
things of beauty
to me

That you
dance
about

with scissors
running
at

stop i'm not
a poem
yet

and you're
not
even real.

-------------------
I feel as if it's hidden
In a long forgotten drawer -

The little tack of happiness
I would stick against the door.

Listing, sinking, drowning:
A ship without a shore,

I'd like to watch my troubles fall
Like ribbons on the floor.

-------------------
For lack of a better title.

I don't know.
It's better to think
other can't see us
can't see how we feel
then knowing they see us
but never ask
what's wrong
I pour my emotions
onto whatever will take them
and then, when they evaporate
they form clouds

eventually
they will get too heavy
and  I will
r a i n
when you can't hold it in any longer

dear mom,
i'm sorry
that you made me
feel like
it was all my
fault
this whole 'family' thing is kind of hard
