Go out.
Buy beautiful clothes.
Dress for vanity's sake.
Spend buckets of dosh,.
To make you look posh.
It's so sublime.
All rather petty.
The real being lives under the clothes.
Beneath that mop of tangled hair may dwell a diamond.
A bright blue sapphire that catches the sun and plays with it.
An emerald that sparkles in the grass.
A precious stone that's eternally yours.
What more could any man want.

You were the icing on my cake.
The currant in my bun.
Another came and ate you up.
I guess that now you're gone.
Must have been another bird.
A hungry one at that.

Maybe
You tared me away
Away from my bubble

The bubble
That kept me

That kept me
In place

And now I just struggle,
Not knowing which day
I should live to the fullest,

Live to the fullest,
pretending it
to be my last.

A broken heart.
No one to hold on to,
nothing to mend it
or bring it back.
A million pieces,
fallen to the ground.
Sad and alone
in a dark empty space,
Left to cry,
in a cold, forgotten place.
Left to die.
Jumbled up in a scattered soul.
A broken dream,
no hope to reach it,
nothing to keep it alive
or help it breathe.
A thousand tries,
failed to reach anything.
Dead but never died,
scared but never tried.
In a place I've never known,
Left alone
in my own empty mind,
on the borderline,
left to fall off the edge
No where to go
with a broken heart
and a broken soul.
Walking all alone
into the* *unknown.
