Did you know that love is a tangible thing?
I felt its warmth in your touch
saw it spill from the corners of your eyes
to the apples of your cheeks
if you continue to love the way you do,
Indz jan,
you will shake strongholds.
I feel your love even in your Viber stickers.
What if our reflections
Really aren't what they seem?
What if they're the guardians of
A mirror's dangerous dream?

What if our reflections
Protect us from our very eyes?
Maybe they hide our true faces
And all we see are lies.

What if our reflections
Only show us what we want?
What if, underneath we're not so good,
And our face is just a front?

And what if our reflections
Skipped and took off for a day?
Maybe then we'd accept our own unique beauty
And stop hiding behind a cliché.
reload your arms..
fighter of trend..
and the fields of blood
you could save at loss
or call at the hiss of attack
..you would have been kind
that heart of yours is fragile
woven in glass and tired reed
spoken to a careless life
...that would cease like the last note
played at the piano concert..
swift yet so sweet
stealing the sweat of emotion
and the gasp of a soul...
feeling all the oxygen flee
as life comes from embrace
..the soldiers glide
reckless writing to feelings of war

Last Eve was full of dreams
visions of butterfly's
in green and white
fluttering as a leaf
and I was mesmerized
by it's ability to camouflage
as it danced before my eyes
and even as it frolicked,
a larger blue and black
Monarch settled upon it's back
and the leaf was consumed.

As the Monarch,
equal in it's beauty
took it's place to dance
and hover,
before my eyes came
a great and mighty
snake it's mouth open
pink and red was it's
throat, as it consumed
the dancing Monarch.

I was frightened by it's
size and so I closed my eyes
became very still, I could feel
it's warm breath upon my hands;
but it found me of no threat
and so slid away;

I opened my eyes and peered
out of the open window
and there upon the dirt road
leading to the place where I stood
were many wild animals
of many kinds as if marching
to Noah's Ark.

I raised my camera to document
this incredible event
then went to warn the others
I showed them  the documentation
but they seemed unconcerned,
so I glanced at the picture
and there upon the road,
not animals but joggers,
a marathon on the move
running for a cause.

That is when I realized
we are all just wild
animals in the cycle of life
just running , mating, consuming
endlessly,
without a cause to believe in.
All
You ask
to have it all
you already have
the all of me
that silently whispers
I love

a mantra in my head
resting on your shoulder
my fingers tracing words
on your chest
that spell out
stay, be mine.

I tore my soul open only to find the same darkness I was trying to clear from my mind.

If you were broken, and i had the parts to fix you
i would work on you both night and day
but, i'm afraid the parts that i use would mix you
and take the best parts of you away
