I found myself drowning in the great old Black River. I was struggling to swim but a huge weight pulled me down into the darkness. I looked around and what I saw, made me scream. The bubbles of the air, that I was saving, were the last thing I saw as I got free from the struggle and let my body float wherever the waves would take me.

I was pulled down by the ugly version of myself.

In quiet times,

listening to music,

lightness,

a little sadness,

like the whisper of spring,

quietness,

in times of loneliness,

the music,

gently,

the resonance,

like thoughts humming,

untidy,

the lyrics,

**** i forgot,

the melody,

eyes closed,

let the time dance,

simplicity is,

good,

vague,

inexplicable teardrops,

strange,

nameless heartbeat,

this night,

this jacket,

laying down on this sofa,

surrounded by this music,

in the warmth,

i found myself.

By this time next week
I will either be loving life
               Or hating it

I will take a chance
Much like the chance I took
               Ages ago it seems

The chance that
****** me up
                For nearly two months

This chance can
**** me up
                  For forever

So by this time next week
I will either be writing happy poems
                   Or frustrated poems.

This Saturday will decide.

I could choose anyone else in this world,
But I chose you.
And I will choose you every time.

I haven't even had a chance to start missing you and I already feel like half of me is gone!
