When can I go back in scribbling words?

When, the ink decides not to stop
When, the paper decides not to run out of stock or
When, the mind finally is free from being blocked

When can I go back in scribbling words?

When, the night isn't cold
When, the moon isn't dull or
When, the air isn't plain from sight

When can I go back in scribbling words

When, my heart finally beats
When, my eyes finally blinks or
When my soul finally grieves
I had a creative block earlier this month. I couldn't get by with my words lately so i'm trying to push myself even just a little bit and even just a little more every day. I'm tired of being stagnant with my craft so I really need a push. Thank you for stopping by and appreciating this piece even for a little while.

They can't heal
When our shame
Lines these roads

They can't heal
When our guides
Aid, abet
And confuse

They can't heal
With our past.
Its power,
We still feel

They can't heal
When we tame
This shared pain.

Cigarettes and motorcycles,
Oh Mercy and Long Train Running
The art of snubbery, not an actual word
But you catch my drift, he snubs so good
Never anyone's pawn he wrote so much
He often forgot what he'd recorded.
The story of him hearing someone cover
Love Is Just A Four Letter Word and saying
That it was a good tune brought chuckles from
His travelling companion.
To call him luminary would be a shortfall.
Prolific, another stab in the dark,
Maybe Wizard would suit him, I don't know
Just play it loud Bob, play it loud.
These times apart seem such a strain,
a heartfelt emotional loss;
But now we must think of the common good,
and fulfill a worthwhile cause.

People wracked with pain and suffering,
an ominous sign for retreat;
Yet just when we most need intimacy,
this intensity bears repeating.

The smartest move is not to move,
and remain inside for awhile;
We'll see one another soon enough,
when powerful sources quash the fire.

Still our minds take a daily route,
through webs of life's complexities;
And wonderment will fill the ache,
if hope can set our spirits free.

Paint your skin
with pretty lies

let the bristles disguise
the parts of yourself

you hope no one sees.
Paint your skin,

leave nothing uncovered
disguise yourself

with perfection, indifference, and sarcasm-
they are the pigments you will use

to paint your skin
with pretty lies.

Life is like a puzzle,
A game you cannot lose.

It requires patience and perseverance,
It also takes understanding.

It takes years for the pieces to fall into place,
But just one little fall...
One measly little falll,
Can cause the pieces to fall apart,
And plunge you into the depths of hell.

Sometimes I wonder;
Am i really awake sleeping
or just living this life in Dreams?

Always Sulking
Time kept ticking and I waited for time
One step closer to the end of line
Watching life as the time went by
I kept dreaming and I was fine

I waited to reach the borderline
Now I am here and I just don’t shine
Going to take one day at a time
I’ll keep dreaming and I’ll be fine

I went downhill
But now I’ll climb
My dreams are worth a dime
I’ll keep dreaming and I’ll be fine

Only when I am done
I am going to die
Our dreams are worth this lifetime
We’ll keep dreaming and we’ll be fine
