The race of my heart beat....
The throb of my pulse...
The pounding of my blood thru my veins....
It's you....
It's you every time....
And the words just don't come out...

Drunk on wine.
Drunk on poetry and
you. Drunk on life and
the things you do. Wrap
me in your arms. Wrap
me in the wings you have.
Kiss me with love kiss
me the way angels do.
Talk to me with words of
love. Talk to me the way
poets do. Because dear the
love i have for you is more
stronger than the love that
exists in the words of
Shakespeare and Edgar
Allan Poe too* ~
i can feel you falling out of love with me.
and it's breaking my heart
As I lay awake in wait.
Before the sun is up to start the day.
Creating radiance for all to behold.
Darkness will be waiting, watching.
Though the sun won't let go.
