From time to time
I feel blue
and cook my own stew.
Its bland and
taste good enough
for my stomach.

I knew from the start
that my cooking
isn't really that great
nor it's appetising.
Atleast
my milk is
sweet.
I'm not fond of sodas
dislike the fact that
it boils my
stomach.

Food, for now
they're within
reach, though
must someday
will come -
starvation is
inevitable

I cooked up a metaphor...
My life in dual meaning.

Valsa George
Humming a soft tune
came down the wind
With airy fingers,
it tousled my hair
Rubbing its cold cheeks
on mine, tickling me,
it reeled round
tugging at my skirt
like a naughty kid
and amorously lifting it up
like a lover
Like soft tendrils
it coiled all around me
inviting me for a waltz

Between hushed breaths
and murmured tones
it talked to me endless
whispering sweet nothings
in my attentive ear

I felt love pouring down on me

I wished to cage it
to enjoy its sweet company
But like an apparition,
it disappeared into thin air!

I couldn’t follow its trail
but as it passed, I saw
a tumbleweed tremble
far above the ground!

These eyes can hear the waves
These ears can see this reflection
I hope you dream sweet dreams
The moments where we let in life
Every breath is the last ?
Inside is a life breaking
I've forgotten
How many times you forgot
You said you were bringing flowers
Only to walk through my door empty handed
But good intentions and your convincing kiss made me forget
How all I ever wanted was for you to bring me flowers

(I've grown a garden in your absence. They give me hope that someday someone will love me enough to not forget)
I've been beaten down,
torn apart and ripped to shreds -
I have the war scars to prove it,

I've been knocked down,
broken to pieces and left out in the cold -
I've been trampled and defeated.

Somehow,
I've managed to stay alive -
It's nothing short of a miracle,

I've managed to turn my pain
into poetry--an art -
I've even managed to make it lyrical!

Poetry is my life!
Without it I would be completely lost
In a world I don't fit into.
