This is a window on the world,
Written by a once time girl,
Guidelines for chicks and men,
A new set of commandments,
Take these for what they're meant,
Be yourself, all chicks and dudes,
Let it all go, we learn in life's long school,
Act the way you want to feel,
You can pretend smiles, which are real,
Do it now, procrastinate later,
Ignore distractions, they're to bait ya!
Lighten up, think of funnies,
Do stuff, even if you don't need money,
Be polite, stay in touch, friends old and new,
Be kind, not exploited, all of you,
Less is more of things to do......
New commandments from me to you!
Feedback welcome. Thoughts are thoughts.

You are everything,
That I have chosen to make you
And more

"You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world...but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices."

This is what
I feel for you.
I love your smile, but
I hate your grin.
I love the sin
you involve me in.

I hate your snide
remarks.
I love our
insignificant talks.

I love you.
I hate you.

So here we are.
Stasis.

Love, hate, love.

I've had a visit from someone small.
Some say he's a little upstart.
He flies around searching for his target.
aiming straight for the heart.

Now I've tried to avoid him.
For as long as I can.
that stupid little cherub.
But he's very persistent.
and won't take no.
He never seems to let up.

So I'm finally giving in.
and admitting defeat.
but what a nice way to go.
that little cupid's shot me good.
With an arrow straight from his bow

I feel somehow the star that shines brightest
Is too far away from me to see

I love the brilliance of the sun in the morning
Blessing us with benevolency

But I know that its light will just conceal
Stars shining in a way I want to feel

But I can't live on strangely constituted belief
And stars I'll never reach

So burn for me outside of my horizon
As the most beautiful star

And even if I can't see you with my ever searching eyes
Know I will always want you

Be a star in the night outside of my sight
But still touching my soul

I want to bottle up your voice,
Wrap a red ribbon around the clear glass,
And tuck the bottle
Into a little hollow in my heart.
Write lines upon my heart
in pure white light
and I will read them

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Touch the tender pool
of infinite white light

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Meet me in the air space
between your thoughts
For this is holy ground
With the greatest humility and gratitude, I wish to dedicate this poem tonight to all of you at HP who have shown such lovely support for this quiet poem, which emerged from my deepest inner awareness.
Above all, gratitude to my Teachers.

May these vows and this marriage be blessed.
May it be sweet milk,
this marriage, like wine and halvah.
May this marriage offer fruit and shade
like the date palm.
May this marriage be full of laughter,
our every day a day in paradise.
May this marriage be a sign of compassion,
a seal of happiness here and hereafter.
May this marriage have a fair face and a good name,
an omen as welcomes the moon in a clear blue sky.
I am out of words to describe
how spirit mingles in this marriage.

Both light and shadow
are the dance of Love.

Love has no cause;
it is the astrolabe of God’s secrets.

Lover and Loving are inseparable
and timeless.

Although I may try to describe Love
when I experience it I am speechless.

Although I may try to write about Love
I am rendered helpless;
my pen breaks and the paper slips away
at the ineffable place
where Lover, Loving and Loved are one.

Every moment is made glorious
by the light of Love.
