nothing you confess
could make me love you less.
lyrics from Stand By You. about God. Take it to mean whatever you want.

Come in and enter our world...
Follow us down the rabbit hole
We are more than just masters of words
We are the whispers of stories yet heard
We are the spaces and
the meaning between the lines
We give our sorrows and joys
The very thoughts that pass our mind
More than our imperfections or flaws
We are the well thought out pause
We are the ideas on the tips
of everyone's tongue
The phrases that dance
across the screen to make you come undone
We are the sum of all that and more
So come on in and see what we have in store

Had there been a pipe *****
Where the melancholia sits
It would have played
Instead
It felt glass between its teeth
And grasped
The hairs in its head
Danced within
The room of the dead
Shadows friendly, alive with dread
While vultures laughed
Kicking away
The offal, the bread
They wanted
its bones to pick
Instead

i.

memories fleet,
storms of an echoing sky,
she sings of miracles
her pockets full of stars.

ii.

a violin sings in the darkness,
ache and thunderous might
stretch across the fabrics of
a dying world,
plunge into the depths of a blue sea.

iii.

everywhere her love sings out
finding poetry unfolding
like the wings of a bird.

Lord, here I am
Unfit to tie your shoes
Still on my behalf you move
When I'm not sure of what to do

You comfort me
You comfort me

Lord, here I am
The blind man at the gate
Not able to see the way
You hold my hand and gently say

You'll comfort me
You'll comfort me

Lord, here I am again
The woman at the well
My sins explain themselves
They are mine and no one else

Comfort me
Comfort me

Lord, here I am
The man beside the pool
Needing healing too
Help me find healing in you

As you comfort me
Comfort me

Lord, here I am
The thief that's on the cross
With the right words I am at loss
As my sins you pay the cost

Which comforts me
Yes, you comfort me
laugh and sing my love
and the universe will too
may i have this dance

phalaenopsis
the sun.
a fiery yellow goddess;

and the moon,
her fervent lover,
her devout worshiper.

the moon is a silvery mystery,
with his brooding manner.

he only shines
because the sun graces him
with some of her confidence.

he only shines
because the sun
completes him.

these two lovers,
separated by space.
they worship from afar.

and the royal goddess,
weeps heat
down to us,
her unlucky prisoners.

she pours out her tears of heat
unto the world,
engulfing us,
in her anger and sorrow.

but the moon,*
the queer, shy, moon.
the moon,
her fervent lover,
her devout worshiper.

the moon hides behind dark clouds,
and only comes out to peak at the
             sad,
                                    mediocre,
                                                and stupid
                                                                             lives
we mortals live.

he peaks in wonder,
he peaks in curiosity.
but all eyes fall on him when he steps out.

he is a silver mirage of beauty.

the moon, unlike his fiery lover,
is shy.

he goes into hiding again
once all eyes fall
                                  on him.

sometimes,
the moon
goes out of character.
he gets jealous of earth.

earth,
who takes all of the suns attention.

earth,
who's life revolves around energetic sun.

so sometimes,
the moon,
steps in front of the earth,
and receives all of the beautiful suns glory.
even if just for a moment,

the lovers are reunited.

but,*
space pulls them apart.

as the sun continues to lash down
heat unto mortals.

as the moon, the brooding moon,
continues to hide behind the cloaking clouds,
unseen to the world.
yeah so i was looking outside and... this happened.
