They have cut down a lot of trees near my house
Not only have they robbed me of my view of the greens
They've also robbed the birds of their home
I don't see them no more
And neither can i hear their songs
I've lost something i used to look forward to everyday
Oh!!...how my soul aches!!!

I'm driving on a road that leads me to your house and I feel your presence on it and the prints of your tires.
You fill up my head. Now all I can think about is what if I call you right now and tell you that it's easy for me to reach you.
But I don't. Because I have to find home. I have to go home.

- LynnAA
"She didn't know whether she was running away from something or running to something, but she admitted that deep in her heart she wanted to go home."
- Beatrice Sparks

"I knew then that I wanted to go home, but I had no home to go to--and that is what adventures are all about."
- Trina Schart Hyman

your love for me
was like rain;
sometimes it was raining hard,
sometimes it feels like
the storm was coming,
and sometimes it was raining lightly*

but just like rain
it was just only passing by

To give my musings wings,
To set my poetry free,
Is more than enough for me.

To give a little honest piece of me
to thee, is the only way that I can truly be, the me, that I was born to be.

Through the written word,
I give my soul a voice,
I have to, I really have no choice,

My inner-light shines constantly,
daily, nightly, and uncontrollably.

My visions, in alphabetical form,
reside deep inside my mind,
this is where they are born,

They yearn for their release,
my soul is now free
to continue to breed
with my mind - together,
poems they conceive.
Found hidden,
or in plain-sight,
in my poetry,
is what I truly believe!

Soul expression is a must,
If I were held back
I would deteriorate - my soul
would simply combust;
in this, you can trust!
