I read your pain
And I remember when
Things weren't so clear
When adulthood began

Bigger than life
The emotional ride
The stress that we feel
The shadows we hide

All of lives questions
Will need to be asked
Choose only answers
That you know will last

Know that you are
Unique, not alone
And thank you
For making
HP your home!

And so it's still dark
From last night
On into today

I have yet to see
A single sun ray

Should the sun come up
Behind a grey dull sky

With not a spark to guide
My wondering eyes

Poetically blind
I try with all of my might

But I can't find nothing
Not a single thing to write

   Blinded by
This long winter's night....

At least I know
That even though
Humans disappoint me,
That this soil and earth
can heal and feel this soul.

At least I can be grateful for the fact that
A storm can relate to my broken mind.

At the very minimum,
at least I know that I can connect with something
in a way that I wish another could.

But souls are a world all their own
and it takes a stroke of luck
to experience something that strong.

These are not merely words
Spun across a page
In unequal syllables
Phonics enraged
Chaotic break downs
Inconclusive
At their peak...
Oh no, no no
These are my words
Eccentrically unique

Betrayal’s scars leech life’s colors
Tears sting the eye, but nary a
Drop will fall
Forgiveness paints with hope’s brush
Torn between tears and hope
Longing for an explosion of color
A battle reigns deep within
Yearning for the road less traveled
A road of dreams fulfilled
But the lure of the dark road overwhelms
Still, I fight to take that road less traveled
Yearning for the unknown
I battle the bleak comfort of the known

Could my words describe a familiar place
A feeling of love or a bitter taste
Or do they echo through time as an endless rhyme
Never stopping to unravel, leaving naught behind

Perhaps they’re merely spoken out of such demise
An incoherent babble of a madman sublime
Should they speak of rage as of life in a cage
I have written of hate, such a shocking page

Yet I would that my words could somehow describe
The part of me I tend to hide
And so you may know I am somebody else
Than the person you see when you look in yourself

It's time to write
To write indeed
A poetic mind
Need's to feed
It's time to conjure
Something new
Something beautiful
Something true
From far above
Or bitter below
It's time to let
Your feelings flow

Paint your picture
Be perceived
The prose, the laughs
The miseries
It's time to write
So take the lead
Write it down
So you can breathe

Besides...
We need something to read!

Sit there and watch
the power of the moon
feel how you are moved
by Her
your blood at her mercy
Watch the tides and learn
to surface when it is safe
enough to breathe
wax with Her
and wane with Her
learn to swim with the
mutable tides
of your existence
navigate these hours
by Her
then see the bounty
of the moon spill into your life

It's lost on me
As you can read
I have no need
For misery
All that's blue
Is but a sea
Beneath the waves
Where we can't breathe
So fill my sails
With thankfulness
Come navigate
These sea's of bliss
And bring about
A better days
Where you and I
Can ride the waves
Of happiness
And piece of mind
To weather all
The storms of time...

Have you all heard?
Jingle bells are ringing.
Haven't you all seen?
All the fairy light twinkling.

It's the time of the year
Christmas is near

3 days left for Christmas!
All are getting ready;
Elves approving presents,
Santa checking his list twice,
Reindeers ready for flight.
N' Rudolph always ready to light foggy nights!

Have you all heard?
Christmas carols outside.
Haven't you all seen?
Christmas trees decorating.

It's the time of the year
CHRISTMAS. IS. NEAR!!
