Overwhelmed by a 20 year love
which is still ever growing,
consumed by pure emotions
that are out of my control,

Hand-in-hand
our two souls stick together,
meshed - inseparable,
as one--we are whole.

Filled with pure emotion,
never lacking adoration,

Just looking at him
my eyes fill my heart
with complete and total fascination.

I fall deeper and deeper
as time goes by--as it continues
to tick away,

I love him with more intensity
and with more passion
every single new day.

I truly value our connection
with every breath,

I know my heart and soul
will remain captured by him
beyond my physical death.

I will take this precious love with me wherever my soul may go,

This love, so well, I fully understand,
and have truly come to know.

A love carved into my heart,
intertwined with my soul,
written from the start,

A powerful love
which my entirety
can never ever part.

I love this love
with each new gifted sunrise,
I love this love
with every memorable sunset,

I love this love
when it rains,
through bad weather,
and not a day do I ever regret...

That unforgettable day
that our hearts touched -
the day that our hungry souls attached,
the beautiful day that we met,
that perfect blessed day
is the day
that I will never
ever
forget.

beth fwoah dream
now cast aside by pyrrah’s glowing fire,
bereft and waste, his wild heart never tamed,
long flown away, burnt out upon the pyre
that winter's teary passion once inflamed.
apollo’s chariot climbs in the east,
and delphi’s altar calls with prayers and songs,
while chilly mortals long for summer’s feast
bewildered by sad winter’s sorry wrongs.
the spring draws near upon the roman shore,
and laughter fills the streams, an aerie choir,
while my new lover hammers at the door
seducing me with roses from the briar.
slow winter pulses quicken and awake,
and love, sweet love, will give and then forsake.
happy valentines day....

I have missed me
I have missed us
Things have not been the same
Maybe someone else is using our name

Some days it feels like we are hands on a clock
just going through all the motions
Other days we are never seen at all
Maybe its just our memory that answers the call

So I miss me
I miss us
Could there be anymore space between us
We are not the same
Maybe someone else is using our name

Is there still love between us
Could things go back to what they were before
Don't we deserve love too
Or do we love ourselves more

Oh how I miss me
I miss us
When we are not the same
For so long now
Someone's been using our name

Not even sure if our hearts work anymore
or if those parts have already died
Do we take a chance on love gone lost
Or just give up throw in the towel and hide

I still do miss me
As I do us
Will we ever be the same
We are trapped inside
Screaming out our name
This is a reworked older poem of mine....:)

Be like a willow tree.

Say yes to the winds of change.

laughter
lives in the wind
every step
it takes
another breath
i
shall wake
while
every moment
we take
it
light
up
the
green eyed moon

such days of quiet loving warmth
of joy and mirth between the two of us

sun-flooded islands in the paltry seas
of middle-age when waves of disillusion
break hard against your course
and
   lest you are alert
may leave you stranded
   just off shore
in waters flat with bitterness forever

such saving days of joyous love

Something happened
Then something else
And then some more things

we do so
without rationale

we feel
we cannot live
without the other

the cosmos will collapse
if s/he does not
reciprocate in kind

and in our hearts
a brilliant future blooms

whether it rains
or not
we do not mind

nor do we care
about wars' usual body counts
and the disastrous global news

when we love
we do so
in wild abandon

just for us

When the moon is full
A shiny silver disc
I'd steal it and roll it along
Like a hoop with a stick
All the way to your door
And give it you as a gift

Then I'd reach up to the sky
And grab the brightest stars
I'd gather them together
And place them in a jar
So you could let them loose
When the night is dark

And when the weather's bad
And the sky is dark with rain
I'd fill my lungs with air
And blow those clouds away
Then I'd push the sun over you
So you'd come out to play

I'd knock on your front door
And greet you with grace and style
Then I'd sing and dance foolishly
Just to make you smile
In fact, I would do anything
To make you happy for a while
