I live in pain, for that I am grateful. I recently realized that life isn't the desires we make in our heads or the dreams we want to achieve. Instead, it is a never ending cycle of bits of happiness replacing the pain everlasting pain for just a short while. As much it is necccessary to rejoice everyday for the small acconplishments, it's also very necessary to acknowledge pain. Pain forces us to grow up and accept life and struggle. We will never live  in a fairy tale where everything goes according according to plan and there's a happy ever after, reality is the we can only hope and that is okay.

I just hope that in whatever place you're in, you're trying. As much as I would love to tell you that happiness is all that matters, the truth is happiness is like a rainbow, it's there when it is necessary. All we can do is try and be our best selves even through this atrocious thing we call life. We will get there, we all will.
this is not a poem. its a letter.
When the dusts settle from the last wheel
and the sickle moon stoops on the bamboo grove
the dead rise in the whispers of the southern breeze.

You may hear them splashing the canal's water
beneath the hazed halo of one quarter
by nocturne music of barn owl and crickets
in lights of glowworms from darkest thickets.

If you stop on the Rotwood Bridge
can hear them sing in gay abandon
though we're now all dead old spirits
the night can't make us anymore forlorn
.

The twin moon may from the ripples broken
beckon you and if your spirit awakens
take a plunge for a joyous down go
amid cheers from the watery hollow.

Holding the poetic sword

Started reflecting on the much-divided heart

Into a brain storming question

Should responses be elicited

Or simply succumb to a passive slavery

Heart unleashed into two divided answers

One to confront with strong resolution

And the other to run away in steady flights

Duty towards society beckoning

Fear of being judged resisting

Mind unfurled its reasoning and logic

Voice it on one side and no you will be nailed on the other

Emotions played its music on

Be a humanitarian it sung its song

No you will get entangled into a web of trouble echoed logic self

Confused the body stood still

And then performed its decision

Interrogating such a response

The heart and mind stood in reconciliation.
I am falling more in love with you O God.
I am falling upon my face to worship you.
I am falling in Line with your Word O God.
I am falling , but you shall raise me up Lord.
Because I shall refuse Pride to steal my blessings.
For Christ says the Prideful shall fall but..
The Humble shall be raise up and tis is true.
There is plenty of good reasons to fall.
Those good reasons I shall fall to worship you.
But I shall continue to pray on being protected.
From becoming prideful , I rather stay humbled.

Two thousand odd years ago today
a Hebrew freedom fighter
was brutally and mercilessly tortured
before receiving a
summary execution.

Happy "Good" Friday.

Trust..
not an easy thing to do
not an easy thing to give
not an easy thing at all

don't tell me that I am broken
because I don't trust you
don't tell me that..

I have a very acute sense of who to trust
and who I won't
and if I don't trust you
then maybe I see something in your eyes
something you try to hide
I have a very acute sense of who to trust
and I can see you
I can see you
I can see...
you

and let me tell you..
you are not what you seem
I can see
I can see that,
underneath your smiles and your laughter
under those spots..
is something to be feared

don't tell me I am broken
because I don't trust you

have the **** kicked out of you
over and over again
have your soul ****** over
have your life in someones
murderous hands

and then tell me
I dare you
tell me I should trust you...
I am not broken.. It's just that don't give my trust to just anyone. If something feels off, if something doesn't 'feel' right... it probably isn't right. Learn to trust the vibes you feel when you meet someone. Sometimes your gut knows more than your head and your heart, never apologise for trusting your intuition.

So many things we take for granite not knowing that they can be taken away. In one moment what we thought was forever can cease to be. So treat each day as precious.

For all the lofty words
of angels and bliss,
the aroma of your heat
and of singed wings
forms the halo, the beacon
calling forth the
demons
you seek to embrace
and purge.

Mine does not pull hair...
oh no.
Mine strokes to stoke
your flames;
forked tongue feathering down
between your
ivory pillars
thirsting for salted fluid
with a whiff of ocean.

You believe that because
I follow,
I am tame
and the baptism of
your holy water
extinguishes hell's fire.
The wolf, the bear
follow scents too,
in ancient
predatory
patience.

Traveler
What do you perceive?
Is your god the only
God in existence
And out of eight billion
HUMAN BEINGS
On this mighty planet
You and a mere one and a half billion humans
That follow said deity
Are the only people on this earth that matter?

Those bombs that shook
Their expendable existence
Did you feel it in your heart
The fist of your intolerant god
That tore their worlds apart...

And no please don't perceive this
With your separatist heart intact
Your fairy tales
Have all gone to hell
What more horrors will they hatch...

bones
Easy flow the waters
of the river passing by,

though we straighten them with walls
and narrow them in time,

and lace them up with bridges
to bind them where they lay,

still the waters, like a lifetime,
slip their bonds and pass away..

1.A walk with one's ego

"Take your ego out for a walk", the master asked, all aspirant monks
one monk who took his pet across the river left it there and returned
the rest after a nice walk hand in hand, brought each, little wet but
rejuvenated, missing master's word in it's real sense altogether,
only for the wise one, the door opened, others had a lesson, painful

2.Tending one's ego
Two  monks , still not ready to part with
their egos, tended both the way each deemed fit ,
The first, so obedient, followed his ego  like a lamb,
one other made it follow him with it's strange requests,
a third the first one to **** his ego with his sword of mind
kept smiling seeing the misery of both still not bold enough.

3 Catty

Ego, was her, fluffy black pet *****
her show piece, she always loved to pamper,
crafty was the creature, hell bent  to keep
her reputation as an attention grabber,
the fact was this, the cat and her mistress
were thoroughly insecure, borrowed colors,
caterwauling in the sound of screeching tires,
she mated with Tom cats that came in jumping walls ,
her mistress was entertained, felt proud,
so ego grew large to the stature of a feline 'top dog',
it's metamorphosis made her owner too bloat up,
Ego one would have to think is her alter ego.

4.I won't ditch my guide dog

Every one thought she was nice, why so egoistic
gets her way every time,  projecting her larger than life ego.
"Well it's my guide dog to get around, as I am one blind person,
I am not yet a renunciate on a quest, I chew my bones too well"
