Love You

Love you
That's all I wanted
was to

Love you
That's how it started
Let me

Love you
You don't let me know
When to

Love you
I thought I knew
When I could

Love you
I guess I missed it
Honey

Love you
Is all I wanted
was to

Love you
g' head and take me
Honey

Love you
I only wish
that I could

Love you
more than just wish
I wish to

Love you
I hope my wish
come true to

Love you
and that you will
love me true

The Lunchtime Poet
In this tempest
I call my soul
your are the one
who has control
Feeling threatened
always on guard
Being looked at
with disregard
Living life
as a willing slave
Feeling threatened
from beyond the grave
Will it be me in eternity?
Or some distant history?
These feelings I have
run so deep
while awake
and when I sleep
Your undying love
will make me whole
That's why your the one
who has control
of this tempest
I call my soul

I couldn't love you more than
I could. I shouldn't love you more than
I should. I wouldn't love you more than
I would. I can't love you more than
I can. I don't love you more than I do.

We will never be able to know where the sky begins
I feel no difference in the copper of our blood
The saline of our tears
All my rivers and all her oceans
So close there is no space between us that we don't fly through together
Her hand in mine
So close I am not a man
I am her

Slur pee
I called out to the world
Distraught, frantic, searching.
Something awoken in you,
A resonant note,
Found deep in your core.
I called again, and the music
Stirred inside of you.
Responding to my vibrations,
You called back to me
With want.
A longing and determination
That was somewhat melancholic,
Teetering on the edge of desperation.
I kept my call constant
As you sang to me,
Both of us searching for the other
Trying to pinpoint our spirits
In the world's sound waves.
As we got closer
Our desperation began to rise
Like a boiling sun,
Burning us with desire.
We called out to each other
Faster, louder, synching our
Fragile loneliness
Until we found one another
Our souls, like two fishes
Swimming, dancing together
Twirling around in the air
Creating a beautiful melody.
Then we entered each other,
You absorbed me, and I you.
A harmonious collision,
That no power could sever
For our souls have always been
Tethered.

You fell in love with my poetry
But does that mean you know how to love me?
Have you ever loved a poet before?
Do you understand it may take a little more?

We see things more vivid than most people do
We may seem distant sometimes
Because we are

Lost in our thoughts or daydreams
Beautiful things will sometimes make us cry
I am telling you this so you don't have to wonder why

If you love a poet
You must not be the jealous type
If you ever plan to make a poet your wife

Our poetry is for everyone, not just you
This is something you must understand
If you want a poet to be your man

Sometimes our words will come out better on paper
Than when we are speaking to you
Sometimes we still might feel alone
No matter what you say or do

Do you really understand what it takes to love a poet?
Do not let our words intimidate you or expect to heal our scars
Just accept us for the beautiful souls we are

We will love you like no other
And the way we will show it will leave you smitten
We will again and again proclaim it through the poems we've written

When you love a poet
Each kiss will be a masterpiece
Each embrace will be the first and last

When you love a poet
They will be a puzzle
And you will be a puzzle piece

Don't worry my love
Not when clouds crowd the broken horizon
It is not a threat of rain
But rather the promise of gifts life-giving

Fall on me from the greatest heights
Fall on me heavy like a stone

Do not worry my love
Because an unseen hand guides me
Tempers the flames of the fires of hell
And controls it in a wood stove
Only so we may be warm

Dare not worry my love
Because if these dark thoughts grow
They grow in life and not death
And I am still alive
Still striving to reach you
To hold you
To paint your naked body
With the color of my kiss
Every part of you
All your skin

Don't worry my love
I am learning how to walk
On water
