Little Bear
i have never met anyone like him before
he burns like the sun
but the moon illuminates
with his light
he is a drowning ocean
giving the shore it's bounty
he rains chaos
and yet
the flowers grow
he is the kind of heaven
that i would not
mind dying for

I read a poem today,
the most beautiful I had ever seen

It spoke of passion and devotion,
tenderness and yearning

Moments spent walking in the rain,
sunny days and picnics for two
Quiet nights by a fire
and Sunday mornings sleeping in

Candlelit dinners, soft music
and making love until dawn

I read a poem today,
the poem was us

Little Bear
it's very simple really
if you fill your life
with love
and shake it gently

it then allows the
peace
to settle
My beloved you are my heart my soul's concern
Your beauty blooms so graciously in spring to discern
Love is that fire in which lover remains in fire to burn
Beauty travels at a path being right no need to take turn

Life on pattern moves on step by step from path to path
My heart dangles ,dances around like a wonderful moth
Who so ever is in fire knows burns of just burning hearth
Let us in togetherness be taken away in one sheet of cloth

My love your beauty attracts me as soul is attracted by water
Love is a set of sacrifices and compromises and nor a bartar
Let my love in love chain celebrate our love as a love charter
We have had the taste of life by being throughout on love altar

I know the universe is huge
and I'm always wandering from
place to place but of everywhere
I've ever been, the only place
I crave is your arms.

Your dream that you just told me about,
where we went dancing on a frozen lake
in the middle of July
watching fireworks explode
beneath a canopy of linen scarves
raking leaves of orange and red
while new daisies bloomed
under the fresh fallen snow
coating the sandcastles we had built earlier in the day
beyond the dunes and circled in flip flop prints
in the fresh concrete sidewalk
poured outside of your neighbor’s house
on a Saturday in the rain,
catching candy thrown from a parade float
of paper flowers and moving dragonflies
parked along side the dinner
as we shared a chocolate milkshake
and a slice of pie?

Did we kiss at anytime during your dream?

If not, can we fall back asleep again?

If I gave you my heart on a big silver platter
would you sit with me here at the edge of the moon
Arranging the stars in a musical pattern
singing along as they whistle their tune

Then could we climb up a peppermint tower
counting each stripe that we touched as we rose
Looking out over the valley in slumber
trying to guess the sweet dreams that they chose

Maybe then sail on an ocean of petals
riding each wave made of marigold leaves
Dropping our anchor just next to the garden
tied to a web that an old spider weaves

Or we might pick up a brush filled with laughter
painting a kite on the chuckling skies
Run with the string as a masterpiece follows
chasing a tail laced with blue butterflies

Kiss in a rainstorm of umbrella whispers
splashing in puddles reflecting your smile
Wake up the sun as it snoozes till lunchtime
rest in the shade holding hands for a while

If I gave you my heart on a big silver platter
showing you life is a beautiful view
Promising all you could ever imagine
would you give me your heart on a big silver platter… too

Violets sing
in the sweet fragrance
of your smile

Their beauty
enriched by
the perfect blossom
that is you

Scented illusions
float on whispered
winds carrying silent
wishes of love to
my heart

As I sit here in awe
of everything
that is you,
blooming right
before my eyes

Opening my eyes,
I awake to the soft glow
of your morning smile

And as I wander
in your beauty,
where love surrenders
to each glorious sunrise
and butterflies dance
among the cool shade
caressing the ground,

I know this is where
I want to be,
always

Softly the glow of the evening is falling
Beneath the moon on a serpentine sky
Creating auras beyond every heartbeat
Whispering down in a mystical sigh

Holding you close as the heavens are watching
Gazing upon every smile that they weave
Kissing your lips in the midst of the splendor
Sharing our love on a midsummer’s eve

Little Bear
my naked morning
stretch
captured
within warm arms

my skin
cherished
in morning kisses

sleepy smiles
greet the sunshine

her skin
warm
fragrant

mine
soft
delicate

his
steel
under velvet

his pleasures
become ours

seeking his need
hearing his want

soft lips
sharing
our morning love

gently waking
from his deep slumber
we devour
with helter skelter kisses

silken
warm
shamelessly given
is our feast

loving
breakfast
in bed
for three

I'm falling in love again.

Over veggies and eggs
Movie making talk
Tired eyes I worry about lines in my face
Cocooned so sweetly, so soft
In your epic generosity.

Flashbacks they come and go
In fast and slow spurts
We lie in our cream
And speak of what we have seen
You've had such a life.

You dangle like beautiful ornaments
The possibilities of our future
Not to taunt
But to so eloquently please
So I let you please me.

You use phrases that are so quotable
I admit the things I don't know
Or understand
With gentle hands you teach me to keep looking
Into the face
Of what I'm meant to do
I sit in front of my new windows
I need to buy nails
Hang a mirror or two
I feel anxious when I have time at home
But I'm such a hermit sometimes
I repair myself and prepare for battle.

I obsess over the maniacal
And the objects and folks
I cannot dare change
Always sticking my neck out
To try and have it go my way
I've got much to do, much to do
A thing or two
You touch and teach me
More than a thing or two

I watch the past die in embers and flames
It can't lift its head
I marked out days with ink
Religiously slept alone
Mama said she prayed
And I look at you and I think

I've wanted you for so long

And here you are.
