the moon was chasing the shadows of the forest,
while the night scurried into the black fields,
placing a small toe into a sorrowful grey cloud
the wind hardly more than a whisper.

and then midnight unwound, blue shadows on grass,
the fields green as dark emeralds,
the clouds dreaming of a soft moon,
and the eye drawn skywards,

filled with forgotten dreams
the wind began to hurry
birds crammed into a bucketful of sky
like flapping pages hinged to a spine.

welcome then to the stomach of night
to moonflower and the bright light that spins
uncovering the stones that lie in the dark moss
revealing the surreal landscape to a broken moon.

welcome then to our love, even more surreal,
as we hold each other close, and shiver like
strange plants wrapped into the black ink of the night
as the world unfolds to kisses and wilderness.

Magnolia breezes scent the day
as dawn wakes in hushed sighs
neath a sprawling sycamore
where we watch the sunrise
paint a yawning eastern sky
in sunflower brushstrokes

I gaze into dark tawny eyes
reflecting heaven’s tapestry
awakening our earth, aglow
in soft petal effervescence
upon your face illuminating
the radiance of your beauty

The embrace of tender lips,
sweet pastry bliss lifts me,
heightening my senses
as once again I breathe in
the aroma of your love on a

Good morning Beautiful

In this fleeting existence, we call life
Breaths of air, unlabored, unsought,
We are but specks in an infinite universe
Colliding with another, now and again.
And as time effaces all strides of victory
We hold a part of each other,
Treasured and locked.
Sing anthems to our plight
To how our love, untainted,
Turned into a story.
As we held our hands and looked to the stars
Leaving our woes to burn with the fire,
We were silent that night,
That beautiful night,
Yet we never stopped speaking.
And to the faint glow of ember,
The smell of the ocean,
We sat there gazing at the endless sky.
To what we owe this joy we have,
Finding each other, holding our fragile hearts.
For you heard my song,
And I, yours.
Now living seems less arduous,
Existence is bliss.
Because we found each other
In this infinite universe.

Within my dreams Illuminated

Galaxies travel across Fiery dark canopy

Maybe the Traumdeutung is too much

Of a work before day's work Begins

Above us is also below Us dormitory

Dreaming of our luscious Bodies entwined

Riding each other as Universe was a Wild

Splendid stallion stampeding through Open Space

And her sacred blood turns into the salty Waters

Upon his black neck caressed by the noon

Beneath hot eruptions of Sun's squared light beams

Beneath his magic ebony knited untamed mane

Covering by his pace awaken eyes thirsting

For crystal cold waters deep in the distance

Feeling the pull of a mirage flickering

In the deserts of life; each one crying

Howling alone to the full Moon

Singing to us with strange allure:

"Fairy tales do come True. . ."

In sonnets on a moonlit night
across the heavens oh so far
Melodically in soothing sounds
while wishing on a falling star

Neath wispy clouds of charcoal mist,
horizons painted sunset glow
wafting softly on a breeze
gently in a tranquil flow

Serenades ‘pon velvet sky,
harmonically this weary eve
Affection played of every wish,
lullabies in twilight key

So find these lyrics I now pen
flowing from my heart so deep
To comfort you in whispered words
*this evening as you fall asleep
Good night Beautiful
