Life heals

Not a modern woman just a survival of the fittest thing
Still a work in progress but I try to heal what I did not create.

One way or another.

Yes, my acquiescence is salty,
It helps the rootlets grow.

For you,
With you,
By you.

Thank you
Once this world was a better place,
Now filled with lots of disgrace
So quick to hide behind their screen,
Bashing,slashing, and gossiping
So you thought she was truly your friend,
Now she'll do anything just to win
Told all of your secrets to any who gave their ear,
Spoke to them your stories, worries, and fear
Remember that there are still good friends,
Will treat you like a princess until this world ends
Don't let it trouble you,
I'll hold your hand till you make it through

Down goes the night,
somehow I just can tell.
Another day with no sunlight
and I'll spend it in my cell.

I once did a bad deed,
I shooted someone in the head
then I ran, I quickly fleed,
before he dropped dead.

Yes, I had my reasons
for such a hideous crime,
but that doesn't help in prision
where I'm doing my time.

I know I had it coming...
I know justice was served.
but I hate to feel rotting...
Rotting in my cell...

Though the rain clouds
my windows
and fire rages
within my
core.

I still adore.

Though trespasses have been committed
and I've often said, "Forget it!".

I still desire more.

Though breath be scarce
and nights are long,
I reinforce
this is where I belong.

I pray to the Lord
whom watches from above.
And I believe in the good I come from.
