I hear echos but I can't see,
I reach out and nothing is before me,
Not friend, Nor nary a person
Not a tree, nor wildlife is is here to meet,
No stars, No sky, No hello's and no goodbye's,

Oh dear god I think I can see,
But in a non-existent silence I feel
Nothing is there, the end of the deal,
Nothing is aware, Then nothing can be real,
Nothing makes space and time, reality.

And you and I can question why,
but minds together cannot even weather
The rocks buried in our minds,
It won't align but I can tug on the tether,
Now I only have everything to find.

And I've seen what that kind of love can do to people. I've seen it shred their insides apart , I've seen it set fire to eyes once calmed of storms.

I've seen that kind of love make people blind to what's right in front of them. To the idea that maybe they're , the only ones , who think happiness can be bottled up and kept for the rainy days.

It's agonizing. Really.

Watching someone become so consumed by a feeling that it takes away the common sense it takes to notice that things aren't right.
That kind of love , it chews you up , spits you out , and gargles just to be sure the very last taste of you is gone.

That kind of love.

The kind of love that isn't ready to meet you on the bridge but fools you into jumping off the edge with your eyes closed.

That kind of love.
The kind of love everyone should be afraid of.

Please set your pencils down
They no longer matter as much as the atom bomb in your chest
Put your minds to sleep
We will only need them to manipulate a system
This system is broken
We are sure
But you don't get a choice
Yes please stand up and use your voice
Just not here or now
Not in this classroom
Or this school
I am here to teach you about standardized testing
Your feelings can rest at ease
Knowing that they don't matter to a legislature
We no longer need you to be creative
Just regurgitate this information
Throw it into the air
Show us you are learning
Progressing
Please
Pass this test so I can keep teaching
Please
******* at the amount of standardized testing my students have to endure. So here is a frustration poem.
