Upon intellectual
collapse... the heart
sets a place for the
mind to understand things
it could never otherwise.
Having been revived by
compassion, it may not
fall for illusion again.

So long ago, Another life
I could feel your heart beat
It's not a dream, remember us
I can see it in your eyes

We'll find a place in time
A place beyond the sun

We'll find a place in time
A place in time to call our home
I found this poem cleaning out a folder. I know I wrote it--I don't remember when or who it was about, my husband or a close girlfriend. Tis a puzzlement.

"Wonderful as you are,
Your branches are blooming,
glowing with fresh flowers,
growing with fresh leaves.

Enormous as you are,
Standing still and strong.
Observing whole world.
Knowing whole history,
Preparing for future.

While you are collecting the wisdom, please Tree, tell us your ancient story" - with beggars voice, the birds said.

In this morning, YOU could only hear the melodic song of the birds and don't understand anything.

it's wrong to linger in hope of a beautiful reality
where mother's live forever
and there's joy in coming home and feeling like a child

in a home where walls are painted the color of happiness
meanwhile memories run short
three years feel like thirty
and
we lose every step of the way

Tears

Chrissy
The tears slowly run down my face
Leaving a wet trail path leading away from my eyes
Dragging away my pain
Pulling the abhorrent images which I have seen
Washing them down my cheeks
Until they drip on the cold ground
Almost in slow motion
As I hear the silent splat of my fears on the pavement.
