Dear Heart
artsyats Aug 2018
I write to you once again
This time so disappointed
Why always cause pain?
Must you always be shattered?

I’m so mad at you!
Stop falling in love
The time now not yet due
Let this day be the last swerve!

I jot this down an angry he,
Always you leave me traumatized,
Wait, but it’s you being broken, not me!
Who knows, you might end up paralyzed?

I Survive
artsyats Aug 2018
My life is a string
Too tiny it can snap
My life is a rock
Too heavy, it’s a burden
My life is not a story
That I can share with a smile.

I survived a hurricane
I escaped a drought
A heat wave just concluded
Yet I am still alive
Writing…

I wander alone in this world
A world ‘we’ are so many
While they, ‘them’ live a lavish life
We are ravished recklessly
Wondering…

All I need is someone to call mine
A shoulder to lean on
A shoulder to cry on
But still my shoulder rejects my soul
Lamenting…

Last Dream
artsyats Aug 2018
I try so hard
Hurt so bad
Get so mad
But never sad
Try like a nerd
Seem a helpless lad.

But I want to be like dad
And forever a happy bird

The Silence Of My Voice
artsyats Aug 2018
Wisdom has been granted unto us,
Knowledge is what we seek;
Listen to my husky voice,
Hear the words i speak,
But heed the silence.

In life, time detects all.

For every tick, there’s commencement of love,
For every tock, there’s a heartbreak,
A smile on her face doesn’t mean she’s happy
The laugh he gives will not always be genuine;
Sometimes the best advice is from the ‘crushed’;
And the most understood ally is the enemy;

In life, time detects all.

Take a second, grasp the silence,
The silence of my voice!

The Poet
artsyats Aug 2018
I am a poet, I pick no sides
My choices vary, just like the tides;
I say yes, but later question the yes
I set the pace, but wonder if I made a mess;
My mind whispers no, so I say no
But my soul demands to know more;
The society questions for answers
But the poet questions the answers.

I am a poet, I never make decisions at bay
I have to think and think, throughout the day;
I must consider all the options at my disposal
Dispose one after another till the most noble;
The poet never makes a wrong decision
It is either a weak or a strong solution;
Thus it’s tough for the poet to play roulette.
I am a poet, are you a poet?

The Answer
artsyats Aug 2018
Today I will give you the answer
The answer to a question you haven’t asked
But I’m sure you will one day;
Listen to me my dear son
This life we live in is a jungle
Full of hawks and mighty eagles
All powerful- claws, vision, flight
And all they do is take, take, take
Negotiations? Why should they anyway?
But look up there,
Yes, that red ball floating on air
You won’t see it now but you will some day
That burning flame is what gives us hope
So we sing each morning
For our heart’s hurt,
but our souls stay strong!

Listen To My Vision
artsyats Aug 2018
Can you hear the vision I poise?
My cry that people take as noise
I sob till my mouth dumb
And tear till my cheeks numb
Why so young yet so scarlet?
Why try to recast your garnet?
This world is round and wild
I tell you so, wound now and mild
This is my last call
So strong I stand tall
I speak to talk
For doors open after a knock
Open your eyes, see the hook
Stop observing, see, don’t look
You will get the picture
It’s always there, just like a fixture.

A Tear
artsyats Aug 2018
A
Tear,
Down my
Cheek, A tear
Full of pain, a tear
With extreme emotions, A
Tear for my young worthless
Life, A tear for the life with no
Freedom, A tear, a tear and another,
For my life in the dark room, with a halo
Of regrets, but one day, yes, one day, I hope
I will swim in the ocean of freedom, fly in
The rays of the moon. Freedom!
It comes last you know

Revolution Of Love
artsyats Aug 2018
At dusk we strike
The storm should cover us
Gather up boys
We move at 0000 hours
Mission is ‘**** to ****’
Code name for enemy is l.u.s.t.

We arm ourselves for war
Let gunfire be our last resort
Take the daggers and machetes
We move like the wind
We hit swiftly and silently
Tonight we **** for love

Listen to me brothers
We are not soldiers
We are fighters
And tonight we fight
We fight for love
This is a Revolution!

Search For Home
artsyats Aug 2018
It was a sea of white
Cold and dry was the night
All alone she was in the blues
Tired she was, so she removed her shoes
She walked, moved, dragged herself
Rushed, raced, rolled thyself
She came to a halt, STOP!
Then questions started to pop
Isn’t there success after patience?
Isn’t there victory in persistence?
So round and round she went
Up and down; her time she spent
She was a tiny dark ant with weak feet
On a wide plain white sheet!

My heart cries
The cries hurt
My beloved love gone
Love buried down and deep
Six inch never to bloom.
Once a lovely vase
Beautiful and fascinating
Till knocked down
By a ravaging missile
Missile with a burning heart
Ready to famish full family.
Deep inside my heart weeps
It is shattered
Broken and separated
Tattered
I wish for someone to mend it …
I hope a Guardian Angel will come along
One day
One century
Just to comfort my bleeding soul
Blood of tears.
Fast and furious she will come
A walking succubus you may call
Ready to ******
And drop you to dying hell
She will expound the pleasure
But later suppress your life
Then isolates and disappears
Moves on to another miserable soul.
My heart cries
It hurts indeed!
Bitter like gall.
She continues her profession
Capturing my loved ones
Bruising my life
Oh Dear!

Silent love
artsyats Aug 2018
When I was in high school,
I loved a girl so cute and cool;
She was a goldilocks,
And was loved by folks;
She had the most adorable smile,
Trust me, I would travel up The Nile
Just to search for a similar one,
Even though I knew she was a very hard nut,
I longed for the day I would call her ‘***’
With time, she captured my heart.
I fell for her, not were my intentions,
For sure love has unexpected expectations.
I went in, tried everything to impress her,
But all seemed like a bother.
I bought her flowers; tried my luck,
But no, she never loved me back.

To her
artsyats Aug 2018
There is this thing,
Deep within,
I can’t understand it,
Since it has to be handled by two hearts,
Everyone thinks about it,
Everyone dreams of having it,
No one hates it,
Because it’s too sweet,
As sweet as honey,
As charming as a bunny,
Those who have it can’t handle it,
And those who have lost it keep on trying,
Searching, looking for it,
This thing they call love.

Where are you my second heart?
The feeling is overwhelming.

The Candle
artsyats Aug 2018
What is it my dear,
That you can’t get so clear;
Each day a tear down the face,
Even though I don’t see any mess;
Is it because you enlighten everyone,
But you never get something in return?
Or is it because your heart burns in flame,
But no one ever mentions your name?
Please wrap all the troubles in a bundle,
And share it with me dear candle.

Numbers
artsyats Aug 2018
Each step one takes
Has two significants
Three days are not enough for a lunatic
He will exclaim, ‘add me four more minutes’
Five hours of work
Can make you empty six bottles of beer
Even on a Sunday, the 7th day of the week
Number eight is a favorite to most men
And nine is viewed as an unstable figure
Finally ten, it gets you back to one
If you switch the digits
