Please don't cry
You're not alone
In this world
Feeling so alone

Come with me
Outside the window
The sun shines
Flowers still grow
Sky is blue
Day is smiling
Just for you

Never give up
There is hope
We'll find it
True friends together
Take a look
And you'll see
Beauty is outside

Then look inside
Deep into yourself
The beauty there
They call life
Starts with you

She can see her dreams
But cannot reach out to them
She is the bird in an open cage
With wounded wings.
if you were wondering
i'm doing much better, baby
only every second thought
is about you now

The beauty I happened to have spotted,
The girl I passed in the mall,
Not just one beautiful girl, you are them all,
No name, because I never got it,
Could not tell you how gorgeous you are, but I thought it.
Your beauty cascades on me like rainfall,
You probably thought I was too small.
But, I didn’t get your number, and away you trotted.

Did you even see me?
or did you just walk by?
Did you think that I was dreamy?
or just another guy?
Did you want to get steamy?
*or were you just a passerby?
kiss me once more
with the same intensity
and gentleness

hold me once more
wrap your arms around me
as i wrap mine around you

sing to me once more
and i'll be singing with you
even though we're out of tune

hold my hand one more
fill the spaces
between my fingers

lie with me once more
let the silence consume us
make me feel safe

let me listen to the beating of your heart
that was awaken by me
for the guy who came into my life so unexpectedly. whatever this is, we'll make this work. thank you for making me feel this way. it may all seem too fast, but we'll make it last.
When life gives you lemons,
Breathe
Because there is only so much you can get out of lemonade.
Take your time measuring
The sugar
To balance out
The sour taste that
Lingers
Until after.
And if you make a mistake,
If it seams the sour still screams,
Remember that it
Exists
For you to
Anticipate
Every next sweet sip.
There will be unwanted pulp.
Don't drain it out.
And there will be spills,
So many spills
Until all sweet
And all sour have run out.
But wait.
Because life always has more lemons
To throw right your way.
An old poem I like to revisit to remind me how my life sort of works. Written as one humongous chunk of a metaphor, as usual.
The clock in your room is stuck on 6:46 p.m. & I think that's all the time I need to fall in love with you.

It didn't take much time for me to realize that your laugh was sweeter than every bakery in northern california , & that your teeth are whiter than my favorite sweater, & the dresses you wear could rehabilitate a ******* addict in the matter of minutes, & your favorite song is the same song that we were listening to when we decided that we're better off together than apart, & that walk that you have when you're wearing your favorite outfit could cure my severe illness for good.
It didn't take much time for me to realize that 2+2 could only add up to equal you;
that everything in the long run always added up to equal you.

Time is a funny thing when all of it is spent with you,
with your humor,
your simple sarcasm,
your addictive tickles,
your favoring voice,
your stupidly stimulating conversations,
your cold yet inviting arms,
your masterpiece of a body,
your god-like heart,
& most importantly your vivacious patience with me.

Life is all about time, trial and error, & taking chances;
& frankly
you were the best chance I ever took,
the best broken clock I could have ever spent all of my time with,
& the best error I never made.
