You are but skin and hair
and taut bone stretched simple
over the expanse of what was once.

We lay you to earth, brothers
smiling on the surface, beneath
fuming currents we carry on.

Carry on
we carry you on
in our heads and furtive glances
at the past, now.

What is this?

This mass of magma, bubbling
between silence and laughter

between
life and death.

Raven
I stand on extrovert ground
just existing
Invite me, interest me, indulge
into what you're saying
exerting incapable amounts of speech
Where's the exit when I need it.
I failed to read this book beyond a certain chapter
I saw the happily, but failed to recognize the after
The days they seemed to meld together in one large fairytale
Until I turned the page and you were gone

Y Rada
more than 20 years in fact
more than 10 years without knowing
if someone found me beautiful or adorable
6 years since that first drunken french kiss
more than 14 years of people asking me
"Why? Why don't you have someone?"

I sent myself valentines card
I stole a single rose from a bunch
which my friends received from others
I begged for that piece of chocolate from them
wishing someone would hopelessly give me
a token of their admiration

I've been alone too long that I forgot
what if feels like to love someone passionately
to have a simple crush to make me feel giddy
to send someone love letters and confess
"I Love You even if you don't feel the same way"

I've been alone too long that I'm liking it
and feeling guilty to romance me, myself and I
and I'm afraid that I can't open up for another
because it's been too long now
or maybe it's too late already...
Dedicated to those single people...
the no boyfriend since birth
the no relationship for months or years
We are all born,
With just a limited amount.
We never know how much,
We have to give out.

We pray for it to hurry,
When we're young and still learning.
Then we pray for it to slow,
When we're older and now yearning.

We know that it's so very precious,
Because we sell it to the highest bidder.
But what about its true value?
That's what we rarely consider.

This gift we've been given,
It was meant to be shared.
For we cannot make more,
And what's left can't be spared.

It is a currency,
We all spend at the same rate.
But it is also purchased,
Unrefundable, with no discount or rebate.

But what really is most important,
Is to whom we give it for free.
That, my friend, is priceless,
So thank you for spending it with me.
"Did you ever think just maybe-"

"Yes. All the time."
