A world slowly woke from slumber
Stumbled through a sense of Deja Vu.
Free from sheets of sleep and dreams,
Borrowed stitches pay the seams
Of patchwork quilted promises,
Forgotten threads of make believe.

Wisps of cloud whispered how you’d leave me midsummer night, sound summer rain still washes away the drought you left behind.
the year I learned to love the rain

A friend

Coralium
She laughs with me,
sometimes without reason to laugh.
She withstands with me
all the days that seem rough.
She runs free with me
wherever the map will guide us.
She knows the truth
and she will speak it wisely.
She knows to survive
and stands her ground as a woman.
If she was not real
I'd make her a fantasy figure.
Happy birthday, Josephine!

If you don't, thank you very much,
As such.
