We are the ones who feel
almost everything.

Squeezed like sun-warmed
wine grapes, pressed
like fragrant coffee beans,
distilled like kilos of flowers,
may these memories of our lives
become good poems.
To you, my new family, here in this international place for poets, and always, to Eliot York, for building it.

A solitary walk in a nature trail can feel so energizing while alone
A solidary walk through a crowded campus and through a long crowded hall while alone can feel so draining and lonely
In the first instance captivated by the beauty of nature
In the second instance the time seems to drag by while surrounded by anxiety

It's been weeks now
The wantings have gotten the best of me
The taste of your skin so golden
Every twilight bares the thought of you
I promised myself not to give in
But that oath is long gone
So I'll retain my distance
Leave no trace behind
The path to our encounters
Remain hidden in the leaves

When september comes
I'll remember when you were here,
Before all the bouquets and tombstones,
The house on the hill,
Asleep in the backseat,
Watching street lamps on quiet corners,
Waiting to knock on your door,
when september comes,
I'll visit your earthly bed,
Remember all the different reasons,
Why we wished you stayed
I love you so much,
I miss you
It is so hard for them without you here.
Patrick is doing great, Caroline is beautiful.
We all miss you.

On this hillside,
I eyed down the tides,
Watched you roll on in,
Back and forth
This game of chance,
Be my always,
Tell me about forever,
Im tired of writing valentines,
To unrequited lovers
You are all the doo-***

Sit with me in silence.
Hold my hand with the hand
Of your mind.

I'll be your shadow; you be mine.
We'll rest in two dimensions.
Watch ourselves in 3D.

Safe in the warmth of
Our common intentions. A womb,
A room for you and me.

Let's communicate like mountains;
Be like solid, silent giants.
Sit with me in silence.

A river dug into purest stone after
Uncountable years reflecting
Sunlight, moonlight, stars and blue

Skies unrejecting. Dark clouds too,
In some divine alliance.

*And deep within it's deepest deep,
Two single, uncut diamonds.
Until we're ground to grains of sand,
Sit with me in silence.
