One man may look forward while another looks behind
Each to his own way and each to his own kind
Why must morals be so fluid when so many step in line
But the world is more chaotic than one may first design
For as number falls on number and push comes to shove
Very little matters but the individual's iron glove
So each must bear his burden and each must bear the mark
For none can hide and all must bow and smother any spark
Because fire is discouraged and rebellion not advised
For who can **** a Monster who is previously demised
While row on row look spotless, beware the truth inside
Their lies are hidden deeply with bodies buried beside
The worst is rarely public, but embedded in a hole
And it quickly is apparent that most don't have a soul
I asked God for the truth .

And he said "You will know the truth , and the truth will set you free."

But he didn't tell me it would make me sad .

Agnes de Lods
Somebody knocked at his window.
It was a dull, haunting sound.

Black tar filled a fearful, splintered mirror.
Something invisible touched his scruff.

That was a day, but the light faded into the night.
A cacophony of whispers shrouds his fearful heart.

It was so good, it was all right, as a sweet lullaby…
Who let a black Tesseract of doubt into his mind?

Exposed to both sides of black-and-white magicians,
playing their deceptive songs, their juggling tricks.

The human weeps for what could have been—
for devouring hunger, unfinished great plans…

Let him complete his painful catharsis,
let salty tears touch these deep wounds.

But when the next day comes,
tell him there are many more lost out there…

You know the truth: hell is hiding
in the black Tesseract of our heads and hearts…

Bright and beautiful
With daisies in her golden flowy hair
The sun rises each morning
Bringing light, warmth, and comfort
to all the people
As long as they don't look right at her

If they look at her directly
Their eyes burn
Because they see that she is burning

She quite literally spreads her sunshine
She doesn't have much left for herself sometimes
So every night she lets her lover
Take a turn in the sky

Shiny and beautiful
The light in the dark
The moon crosses the sun
To take over the night

They share a quick kiss
And the sky fills with color
Stunning
But doesn't last forever
They wish they could see each other longer
But they have matters to take care of
The moon now owns the night

But the sun isn't the only one
Who brings comfort;
the moon is often the only one there
For the terrified and sad
The creative and restless

The dreamers are awake.

The moon is there
Constantly changing
But there
A reminder that things don't ever stay the same

But eventually
The moon wishes to see their love;
The bright and beautiful
Even if it's shortlived

Sunrise lights up the sky
And the sun is ready to shine once more
Not sure how I feel about it but posting it anyway

I rarely ask,
was I blinded to have let you
hold the dominance of my heart?

I sometimes question,
was it the moment that I met you
I knew I loved you from the start?

I often wonder,
was it your smile I miss so much
or pain we shared along the way?

I always imagine,
was I bound to lose your touch
to be drawn again to you someday?

I forever ponder,
was there a home for you and me
in the parting waves of me and you?

I tell myself,
that it was a love like the Red Sea
and our souls cannot remain as two

and just like summer in July
you hold my hand
each time I try
to overcome my deepest fears
to laugh
to cry

and if we fail,
you, us or I,
our love still feels
like summer in July

you carry sunshine everywhere
you lift, support and dare
to wake up smiling everyday
in spite of all,
the world could say

you shine so bright,
your love is light,
with you,
I see the hope in sight
