i find myself weary now,
worn thin by the desiring,
washed up on the shore of my own island
   where i keep returning,
                                        alone
popularity is so overrated
Please wait for me
I won’t be long
I’m just trapped in this world
Where I don’t belong.
She
She was really creative

just like me

But the sparkle in her eyes was hard to see

It was obvious she wanted to follow her dreams

But she told me, dear life is not what it seems

How am I supposed to become this star?

I am not you, I can only go so far.

I put my head in my hands because I felt her despair

as an afterthought I didn’t want my actions to give her a scare

I changed my stance,

I gave her a glass and I told her

LOOK, this is as FULL as YOU

You are filled with a vital substance too!

I came from nothing, did you know that?

No you didn’t because I do not disclose the facts.

The BIGGEST fact is what I will tell you now,

is that YOU are ME,

we are one somehow.

You are the voice that told me no

but something stronger told me

GO

You are right this life is not always what it seems

which is what propelled me to chase and capture my dreams!

We slowly danced
by the rhythm of the
classical music as
the enormous crystal
chandelier was
shining above us.
My dress was shinier.
Since when do you
start listening to
Beethoven like the
national anthem?
The slender skillful fingers
would only wish to
leave marks on the
white keys of the piano.
Instead, it left an invisible
satisfaction in my ears.
Red roses freshly planted,
they acted as an
intoxicating perfume.
The cold snake of
white tears froze my heart.
Flowers in my hair
suited me more than
pearls on my neck.
But i lost my balance and
the entire night sky
spilled upon me.
Along with the stars...

He was
from the sky
and she was
from the sea.
He carried wings
of angels
in his hands,
lifting her up
in the air
everytime she
held him.
She carried an ocean
of secret love
in her eyes,
drowning him
everytime he
casted a glance
at her.
Although they
knew it
was impossible,
The water, the sky,
nothing
could seperate them.
Because they
knew it was real...
I saved this write for all the amazing people on this site ! Thank you for all your reads , likes , help and encouragement over the last eleven months !
I'm just getting started ...
Rolled up paper napkins and plastic
wrap
Guitar picks of varying thickness
Reading glasses , cold black coffee , a
polishing cloth for a wine colored Les Paul
Staff lines with blue notes penciled in
A midnight jigger of Gin
This worn out body held prisoner by a frantic
mind
Reads like a song for another time* ....
