A kind of freedom enfolds me...here,
in this meadow, where summer colors
have deserted the horizon and the sky

a lone kite flyer has gone home
and i am left here, all alone
chasing butterflies in the dark
while i ponder long...on people,
their situations....their ideas,
their outbursts, that trigger uncertainty
their words that wound and hurt, like a plague

i sit and feel this vast openness,
nearing twilight...holding a flashlight
breeze and sound dance under a clearing moon
all i could think of, is i am small, but i want to
stand tall, in the middle of this huge open space
my voice is just a whisper in the atmosphere,
i want to stretch and reach out, but my arms are short...

all i can do, is write...i want to write with sincerity,
........use truthful, encouraging words
.......appropriate...not outlandish
...........simple......not highfalutin
...............never desultory
............or derogatory

all i want is share my  thoughts that could  mollify
i'd be elated if they please readers, and satisfy
i wouldn't want my words to confuse, or crucify

all i want to say
...and spread all over this troubled world...is:

"te amo"

"je t'aime"

"ti amo"

"Ich liebe dich"

"I love you"

"Wo ai ni"

"Watashi wa, anata o
aishiteimasu"

"Mahal kita"

::::::
during uncertain times,
nothing more than sweet words,
that warmth from love...can soothe weary ears
comfort, and mend broken hearts and minds...

Let's us Live, even while slowly dying here on the earth.
Let us Love , even while we are slowly dying here friend.
For no matter what, we are all slowly dying in this life.
Because no one Lives forever, no not one person here.
So while we are slowly dying , let us allow God to use us.
To help those whom see no hope here on this barren planet.
That draws no hope, because they know not our God.
For only he can bring us true Hope while we are slowly dying.
So let our Life bear witness to the True Hope through Christ.
Let our Sorrow build within us a true Testimony of real Love.
The Love that is unconditional one without any strings attach.
Let our Actions speak much Louder than any of our words.

if all you may gain is comfortable be charitable
I walk daily to the store and pick up cans and old papers
seeking no reward treasure sometimes comes
like the day I found forty dollars
it was a bonus more than I got from
those fifty years of being greedy
I see people smile or notice me and my dog
Missy walking right there the entire time next to me heeling
pointing out litter by ******* next to it
and smelling the passers by the litterers
the bad dog that went this way the hound the
ground hogs
I smile when I do that Missy smiles
we got it too comfortable
I wish all could

Keep the innocents in the village
Don't let the children play outside
The homeless and the nameless
Must stay huddled together
Finding shelter where they can

Because there are killers high above
Dropping bombs of hatred and rhetoric
Killing and maiming indiscriminately
And the killers are from so many places
Leaders from all over the world
Whose only morality is ambition
And their only emotion is paranoia

And those who dare to disagree
Are shut up or closed down
Never to be heard from again
And those who care to notice
Are watching open-mouthed
The bloodied stump of history
Right before their eyes

Here's something you don't see everyday. Although I've seen it a few times before on my street... A homeless man pulling a bicycle which is attached to the most astounding construct! Made of bicycle wheels and plastic webbing, chicken wire and aluminum piping, this huge mobile container for tin cans, and whatever this homeless individual can scrounge to resell, is almost the size of a garbage truck! And carries probably hundreds of pounds of aluminum cans.

In constant danger from cars and trucks, this is an outstanding testament to human ingenuity and dogged determination. The man marches on, stopping occasionally to take a container to dumpsters looking for cans. Whatever he can find.

I asked him if he needed something to eat or drink. He just smiled and shook his head. "I need to move on." And I realized he probably takes advantage of the nighttime to do his searching, as it is too hot during the day to do so. I smile and wave and wish him blessings.

If I ever feel like I am put upon in this life, I should feel ashamed. This man has shamed me utterly. I've invited him up to my porch in the past. Giving him food and drink. He is a believer. And I've never met a more cheerful brother in the Lord Jesus Christ! But he doesn't take any credit for his outstanding ingenuity and Drive. He gives the glory to God. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. He was also an addict and finds it very difficult to find a place to live due to his past. So he sleeps on the streets and does what he needs to do to survive. And survive he does!

I say a prayer for this stalwart. His name is Ben. Will you join me in my prayers (good thoughts)? I think he deserves them, don't you?

I haven't been on site because my father had a new procedure done. He is also in need of prayer, good thoughts. I come on occasionally to check my messages and do a little reading. But I honestly don't have a lot of time. Thanks for understanding.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
