Sometimes,

People just disregard each others value,

                                      Throwing dirt at each other,

                                                 Pointing fingers to one another,

Bashing words that doesn't even exist,

They just don't understand,

                        That somebody are breaking inside,

But those shattered people,

                                                   They just don't show it,

'Cause they want peace and harmony,

                                                             But they are crushed,

                                                     More than you can imagine!

Sometimes,

                        People are just so selfish,

Doing things that just benefit their own selves,

Not even thinking of the consequences it may turn,

But for those people who are breaking inside,

Whom they have bombarded with pain and sorrow,

The coin seems to not favor to them,

         But time will come,

It will just flip to theirs.

Sometimes,

                           People are just so watchful,

Of the mistakes of others,

Even though they have not known them,

Like a dog barking on complete strangers,

Then just like a blinking of an eye,

Overlook all the good side of those people,

'Cause of their own "observing wrong" habits,

They just can't even observe,

      About how people sees them?

Are they pleasing or not?

But sadly,

They aren't admirable,

   'Cause what they are doing,

            Are never gratifying,

Sometimes,

People just look into this worldly pleasure,

Wealth and FAME,

And can sacrifice every dignity they have,

                  All the friends they have,

And all of the good they have,

                                         Just to obtain this stuff,

The world devoured them,

But remember,

No matter how much WEALTH AND FAME,

That we will possess in this world,

If we don't have a heart,

                That loves all humankind,

                         That loves appreciating people,

And that has God inside it,

Remember,

All are just nothing.

Sometimes,

                          People lack these words

LOVE, PEACE, and RESPECT.

                                                  Sadly,

Sadly....

I know people are not perfect,.. i knew that there are just factors that contribute and that push them to do those to others...

Indeed, This is what I just observed, and I am not pointing to anyone,..

and note: when people start calling and talking about GOD, it doesn't mean that they are showing themselves as SELF RIGHTEOUS. It just mean that they are sinners, and they accepted the fact, that's why they draw near to God.

This just breaks my heart, as the first stanza, just happened to me..

Let's have harmony and peace people... start appreciating people no matter how we don't like them, or hate them... just being positive won't hurt... we need to consider others feelings, too... we are humans, i knew it, and we does feel HURT, TOO... :(

You only need your heart broken once
To be able to create a lifetime of poetry

I jumped on a freight in Monticello,
Didn't know where it was going - you
Had given up on me, baby -
So, I'd given up on you.
A rumbling song as the train rolled on,
I had plenty-a shine to drink-
I was trying anything I could,
So I wouldn't have to think.

Few and far between
Are  the hopes I'll ever have
Of loving someone who's loving me.
I've been taken to pity,
Like surely others have.
All of my dreams
Are few and far between.

I could still remember how
You said you wished that I would leave.
I'm giving you what you wanted.
Something you can believe.
You won't hear from me, anymore.
I know that to you I'm dead.
I won't ever haunt you,
Like your words that won't leave my head.

Few and far between
Are the hopes I'll ever have,
Of loving someone who's loving me.
I've been taken to pity,
Like surely others have.
All of my dreams,
Are few and far between.

The boxcar slowed in the railway yard.
I jump off - the gravel cut up me knee.
I heard them barking, so I took off a'running.
The dogs were closing in on me.
I made it to the Vieux Carr'e
Before the St. Louis clock struck three.
Tell the children I love them.
Or better, tell 'em not to think of me.

Few and far between
Are the hopes I'll ever have,
Of loving someone who's loving me.
I've been taken to pity,
Like surely others have.
All of my dreams,
Are few and far between.

I'll always wish it was different.
I hope you find somebody new,
Hope you find the kids a daddy
Who's good to them and you.
I hope you know that I really tried
To be the man you needed me to be.
I couldn't keep you from happiness,
You couldn't keep me from being me.

Few and far between
Are the hopes I'll ever have,
Of loving someone who's loving me.
I've been taken to pity,
Like surely others have.
All of my dreams,
Are few and far between.
I started writing this song in 1991.
The ispiration was a song called "Talk to me of Mendocino" as performed by Linda Ronstadt (from the albumn Get Closer), and Kris Kristofferson's Me and Bobby Mcgee, and my own exploits of hitchicking around the country at the time. The first and the third verse were writen at that time. The second and the fourth verse were writen about 5 months ago. I touched up the second verse today, as I submitted this work to be more sympathetic to the subject's mindset of depression.
This is kind of my Thomas Wolf piece. Part homage to my experiences, without being autobiographical, as I have no children.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I own the copywrites to this and all my work.
Please do not use this poem to buy, sell or fundraise for this or any other site.

How epic my world would be,
if effects POP out of nowhere, where everyone can see.
Every sight can be heard,
and every sound can be seen,
you can see your imagination, if you know what I mean.

Making faces to look silly
for others and you personally,
not that it shouldn't always be taken seriously.
Where simple actions are super-exaggerated
, from cartoons, comics, all well-executed.
Doesn't it sound fun, or am I deluded?

Sure it seems childish in the eyes of the serious,
immature, chaotic, even preposterous.
But would you, let's say,
trade your mundane moments for at least a day,
to add your world some color in the most epic and exciting way?

Leave me high.
Leave me gasping for breath,
In your absence.
Leave me pacing the room
And falling to the floor.
Leave me in solitude
That I know so deeply
As to call it my friend
Leave me standing
Or sitting
In the dark,
Or filtering sun through my lashes.
Leave me to feel
My own heart
Beating through
A thin shift shirt.
Leave me in my mind
