Maybe self-love is allowing yourself to cry as much as you want to.
Coloured smiles
Mind blowing at look
With all undeniably realistic
Attracting hearts to fall in it
Innocent hearts so sensitive
Yearning for compassion
Just skid in !!
The truth of colours realized
Once you are juiced
And straws thrown!!
Once a dog

my dog has
has been dead a long time now
but I think of her every day.
I have to give her eternal life dogs have no heaven or a saint by the gate asking:
have been a good dog
and eat the leftovers the humans gave you?
Woof.
I big lie of, course; she slept on the sofa when I went to bed.
What about the hairs on the couch,
she looked another way as to say, nothing to do with me.
Fifteen years we had together she spoiled me rotten.
Took me for walks in the woods kept me fit a fine figure
of a man, she could be proud of.
Words don't take a rest
Rushing through your mind
Wanting to let go
Feelings bursting with
Newfound energy
Waiting to be released
To the unsuspecting world
Captivating  charming
Saddened words
Wanting a place
To land
But first they must
Be birthed
Happy Labor Day Do something good for yourself today share with family and friends Don't  think of work but you and yours

rk
i was always told
vampires don't exist
yet i spend hours and days
feverishly trying
to forget the feel
of your teeth upon my skin.
sometimes my mind is
racing with words
I have to hurry to
find paper and pen
I can't tarry
Once the moment
Is gone it's  gone
locked in the hidden
treasures of time
This written after I forgot to title.my poems
Tried to title.this one
This morning I caught
Nature showing off
No holding back
Forest green grass
Still sparkling from
Morning dew
Geese honking hello
Snapping twigs across my path
The mist upon the water
The clouds of purple chiffon
Bright yellow flowers
Dancing in the breeze
What a sight to behold
If only we open our eyes
And feel with our heart
This morning on my walk I was blest
To experience nature at her best
