Let me write you a symphony.
Let my words ring with
The intricate sound of my beating heart.
While my soul resonates in your ears,
As my music fills you up
Til’ you overflow.

No shame if you hear my soliloquy.
I’ll confess my love to the gods in the sky,
And they will lift me up-
Your hands in mine,
And return the piece of you
That thought I had lost forever

My tears will attest for my love.
My cry will be my shield
Against the truth-
And the pain will linger
On the tips of my fingers
As I gently close my eyes.

Let my song reach the top of the heavens,
And the last note shake the gates of hell
May my aria give solace to the lost souls
So that you may find me
Somewhere between C major
And eternity.

Trying to harness the Hornet nest
vibrating your mind close to madness
sweet release a few poetic lines
in solitudes fermenting void
a poet is reborn, reborn, reborn to die.

The available level of oxygen left in these debilitated lungs of mine is at .01% and I'm turning absolutely cerulean.

Regardless, I'm feigning things are fine.

My wizened lips are starting to quiver. They're growing numb from being elongated into a desperate smile.

I'm saying I'm fine when really I'm gradually starting to notice lights in front of my eyes and the world seems to be on a broken elevator that goes up and down much too quickly and my legs and arms have perceivably left the rest of my body to the forces of gravity.

But really, I'm fine.

She fell for everything he pretended to be,
He fell because she made him want to be what he pretended to be.

Crying eyes, crying eyes!
So sick and tired of believable lies
Days pass and the feeling never dies

Harsh
If going to
bed with
you is a
sin, I don't
ever want
to be holy.
The only lightning I'll be struck down by is when your lips
touch my neck. I want to let your love permeate through all
of my soul.
Your lips
would be
my chalice,
and I'd
drink away
my demons;
I'll whisper
confessions
of my love
at night
through
bed-sheet
veils and
heartfelt
prayers.
I'll admit it's a little sacrilegious.
I genuinely spent half an hour trying to get the format right.

Hatred caused the darkness
That radiated the land
Perspiring a toxic fume
Pollution covering the dawn of freedom
Causing a grey sky
The flowers die
The soil rich with poison

Beauty abandoned the colors
Abolishing the glow in deep eyes
Acid rain inside a dry mind
Love lost interest of its golden shrine

For gold has rotten teeth
And love yearned for peace
Violence could not find a home
Love had to leave its throne
And find a reason to dream a sickly smile
Yet choose to stay awhile
But where

In the dark a rose bloomed
Dawn did not know how to accept
How sunshine would glow after the sun would set
But we looked
And finally dreamed
Of many things
The why's
The where's
The how's

Our questions could not be answered
Nor denied by prophecy
Only examined by the mystery

Elders only asked
While the rain turned to ash

Would you trust it?
