And with

a slap

of a hand

I came

crying

into this

world,

and my

favorite

color

was to

be yellow,

and today

I thought

someday,

I will

buy you

a yellow

dress.

and dance

with you

over  a sky

of white

popcorn clouds,

and breathe

the moment

as my

second

birth.

where

everything

is pure

everything

is new.

and diamonds

fall

from the

corner

of your

eyes,

at the

joy of

me finding

you.

and all

the questions

you ask

will be

answered,

with simply

the closing

of your

eyes,

you and I,

moments

in time,

one can not

exist

without

the other.

one would

never

want to.

A blessing

has come

to me,

your heart
is  something
that I
wish upon.

it is
the first
flower

stirring
in a
meadow
the first
day of
spring,

the opening
in the
ice that
a river
breaks
through
at winters
end.

to then
mend and
turn and
flow.

giving
life to
all it
comes
to meet.

and now
you
have found
me and
my simple
words and
thoughts.

and to
each day
that I
awake
I mend
and turn
and flow
to you,

seagulls
to wind
fish to
water.
prayers to

God,

everything
is what
it was
always
meant
to be

Reflected rays
Reveal the truth

Once read aloud
Between the lines

That words remain
Longer than footprints

And with illuminate truth
The moonlight shines
From the corners of my room.

The nature of intensity is like an eclipse in the sky
Most memorable
Most vibrant
Most unique to others
But no less alive than the prior tries
No
The trick is in the duration
Just for a moment
A certain time
That is what in the mind’s eye remember
What makes the instive memory shine
The Instive Memory

Every morning good Damocles wakes up
And after breakfast from a drive-through bag
Salutes the time-clock with a merry ding
From a little card that records his time

He drives his forklift or his cubby-desk
And sorts each pallet or computer code
Into their places in the secular scheme
The minor chain of being more-or-less

Until a meeting when, and with great sorrow,
A Suit tells all, “we’re shutting down tomorrow.
Oh, the company still exists (and what could be finer?),
But we’re sending all your jobs away to China.”

She's walking into a forest
With a green nightgown

Looking for answers
under the small moon

Orion's belt
on top
of the roof

I got no time
for the trouble in my eyes

I'm looking behind
I can't change
there's no end
to this pain
it'll bloom in the winter
wash away with spring's fears

I stayed up all night
the morning sky looked like a dream

If dreams feel so real
why does my reality wake up to a daze
