Oscilação de um verbo, um minuto de vazio
Um lápis, uma folha branca e um verso
Um poeta, um mundo e um universo
Criação infértil, um ousar rápido e estio

Deste breve soneto não guardarei feitio
Pois a estética de meu agrado é o inverso
E se na subversão de minhas palavras, imerso
Desmeço o ritmo desta rima rica que emergiu

Adiciono mais seis versos para o fim
E cá escolho a palavra para rimas seguidas
Que, por conforto da língua, dou-lhe conferida

Para que torne-se um soneto, enfim
Com a solidez de uma música erguida,
E o feiume silábico de uma pétala caída!

I got tired of waiting for you
to write a poem about me
So I did it myself.
 Feb 2019 Call me Oliver
brinn
he was like a cigarette

bad for me
even though it feels good
and i knew i shouldn't
but i took a drag

and just like that

i'm buying packs
every other day
and smoking whenever i can
i feel my lungs
crying and begging me to stop

but i can't
i can't stop
i can't stop loving him
I'll be thinking of you
on new year's day.

I'll be missing you on the
first day of the rest of my life
like you had never, ever left;
can still see your silhouette.

it moves across the sky;
then melts away as it
says "goodbye."
