You.

You are beautiful.
You're a man?
Doesn't matter.
You are beautiful.
Life is beautiful.
So you are too.
You wear a dress?
Doesn't matter
I do too.
You're lonely?
Me too.
You like tea?
Life *****, man.
So get the hell up and live.
Ignore the protests.
Ignore the hate.
Lets hold hands and think.
Don't hate please. (:

Life it holds the hidden key

Just inside the mystery

So much so uncertainty

Turn it loose and set it free
She sits from where
the rainbow arches into the river.

As I eye her fishing net
she reads the question in my mind.

I'm waiting for three thirty
when tides begin to fall
but the shrimps can't go back.

When the bank begins to bare
she glides into the waves
till the water cools her *******.

I walk away knowing
she would bob up to the hour
the moon is upon her face
and she has made another morrow
from the river.

On the Mend

.

How do we mend wavering pedestals...
When the ground beneath is parched dry.
Stemming off loose foundations that time had weathered wry.

How do we mend broken gazes...
When watchful eyes which were meant to see,
are blinded by the onslaught of half-truths and fallacy.

How do we mend burnt bridges...
When we never look back to trace heavy missteps.
We fail to admit to consciously springing obvious traps.

How do I mend ailing hearts...
When familiar corridors seem warped to a bend.
When my own is struggling and perpetually on the mend.

After all it didn't matter
What was said
The moment passed
As clarity filled my head

Just as always
You pulled away
How many lost souls
Did you think you could save

Oh how you failed
In times passed
How can love ever last

You survived the darkness
But did you learn to leave it behind
After all
We are only slaves
To our own mind...

Check out the history, glance at your phone
Go through the receipts when you're not home

Somethings different, it's driving me mad
I crave a return to the happiness we had

Was it something I did? Was it something I said?
My brain's gonna explode right out of my head

Whatever I say, whatever I do
I just no longer seem good enough for you

Perhaps it's finished, our time has passed
Our lifetime together is over so fast

I'm writing you a love poem
One to call your very own

With how I feel about you in it
Before my love to you I give it

Like holding my heart in your hands
As you read what this poem says

Filled with special meaning
As to you I pour out my feelings

It's sure to blossom as it grows
This love poem that's your very own

Nothing will be left unsaid
In the love that this poem gives

This love poem that I'm writing
In perfect harmony and timing

The more I write the more I'm finding
Flows with love in its rhyming

I just wanted you to know
I'm writing you a love poem
