Healing leaves are now disrobed branches
on the edge of this wilderness.
Many tall Douglas Fir stand sentinel
over 100 foot tall amazing grace — the fleeting leaves
expose the beauty of the moss clad scaffolds
adorned with a lime-grey lichen lace
Nature is my refuge — solid ground to stand
in this harmony and peacefulness.

I finally broke down every wall for You

And you picked up every single stone
Just to throw it back at me.........

Whether they go gently

or expedite with force

the rhythms of the night

are there to ravish us

in the miserable nature

of indomitable, incessant need

to gratify a neglected

consciousness

fraught with dancing endorphins

that linger about

love's sea

as a salient reciprocal

I get you

Can’t you see
You’re too wrapped up in your safety web to ever take a second to look around you
Vulnerability is your enemy
Which is it, judgement? Rejection?
You’re so defensive about your truths yet so defenseless from your Chaos
(crickets)..
Then word *****: spilling dark humor and unsettling remarks from your lips
What an ugly image you paint for such a beautiful being.
I’m not convinced
I see it in your eyes
I see it all
your love, your loss, your fears, your hurt, your regrets, Your PAIN.. and for once
I get it. I get you.
