Tonight, I fell down a rabbit hole
It's not a place of magic
and happy endings
but a hole of thoughts deeper than a bottomless pit,
Where the only escape is a good night sleep

It felt something strange,
we never called what we had,
but it's almost love.
Happy Valentines <3
Waiting while the white ball spins
Hurry - I’ve got other stuff to do.
So many corrections yet to make.
Why didn’t I type more carefully
Rushing through some new ideas
Throwing words out like confetti
Only to be scattered by the wind
That never seems to take a break.

Watching while the ball still spins
Pounding mental fists on walls
That make the labor twice as hard
As Bragi promised it would be.
Breaking up what’s newly writ
And stomping on the pieces
That turn sharp and cut my metric feet
Which then bleed through my stockings.

The ball will never end its spins.
The buffering goes on and on.
I might as well go dig a grave
And bury all the honeyed words
And clever phrases I created,
Fighting iMac all the way.
Their use-by date was yesterday
And there’s no hope to salvage them.
The buffering has done me in.

It's hard enough to write stuff - why should it be so hard to POST it!
Yes , "if not for you"
Then comes all the banter
All of the glory
That we so undeservingly
deserved

I once surprised a waterbug (actually a roach only tinier) on my kitchen counter . I grabbed a handy jar and lid and scraped the pest into the jar intent on its oblivion . I left it on the counter intending to starve it to death . After a week had gone by it's exoskeleton turned white . All movement had stopped but it was still alive . To me it appeared it was in a state of meditation , motionless as if contemplating the most cosmic questions imaginable . This went on for another week before I began to respect the dignity of this amazing insect . Then I felt compassion and regret over what I had done so I put a drop of water in the jar to see what would happen . At first the insect remained motionless then went over to the water but stopped right at the edge and to me it appeared to give thanks before drinking any . I thought that was strange so I put a piece of bread in to see what would happen next . The same thing again happened . At first nothing and then the approach and stop and again the appearance of grace before consuming . I was so impressed I let it go after it had had its fill . Then I realized we are waterbugs compared to God and we are put into a jar here on Earth and we are starved for the words of God (Ye shall not live by bread alone but by every word that commeth from the mouth of God) and finally we are to give thanks for everything we receive in exchange for love , grace , forgiveness and ultimately life .

I'm the poisoned drink
Of your dreams
Come and sit on this throne
Be my perpendicular queen
When the doors are locked
With my psychosis wide open
You'll understand what
All of this means

-

we are all imaged by those
who would see us at our best

along with the paint that
inevitably chips away
in yearly frosts
and summer
droughts

because we will remain
—as always—
the easel upon which
God was inspired to
draw us...

A good relationship or marriage is not about finding the right or perfect person...it is about being with someone you genuinely and truly want to be with..it is about being with someone who makes you forget about all the problems and troubles you might be going through...it is about being with someone who cares for you and respects you...and most importantly it is about being with someone who stands by you through thick and thin and always believes in you and trusts you.
If you find such a person then hold on to her or him and never let go.

Be so focused on your goals that you don't even have the time to compare yourself with others.
