She will be loyal
She will always be true
She will always be loving and kind
That smile of hers that melts your heart
Even when you know her a short while she stays with you
Joy and kindness personified
She will be greeted at the Rainbowbridge by a handsone Golden Retriever naned Skippy
I can hear him calling her name
Tori  accompanies him and watches over us
We love her forever and always

Tori passed away in February.
Our cousins had to put her down
Her photo is on poetbear.net under blog section

It may look like I'm silent
But don't let it fool you
I'm holding back the will
To say that I love you

her to
come
into my
life.
We fell in love by chance,
We stay in love by choice.
I have no regard
for other poets
how could it be other

As they conscript
the words away
of which I’ve not discovered

A battle royal
zero sum
as phrases block and parry

The winner left
his voice reclaimed
— the loser most disparaged

(The New Room: February, 2024)
My honest concern goes to Mother Nature
For she proves as fickle as I
A late September with the winds of December,
A truly wicked surprise

But she has my understanding not scolding
For too many times have I,
Taken what was once a peaceful October
And scorched it with the fires of July
