Figment

Rebecca
You are nothing to me.
You are just a figment of my imagination.
You are there and then in a blink of an eye,
gone.
Not much difference than the reality of us.

I'm not someone
You'll write a poem about
For I'm nothing like
The cashmere sweaters
You've clung to all your life.

My warmth to you
Is like the cold winter sun
Too distant to make you feel
Anything for too long.

I might catch your eye
But your soul would easily skip mine.

And I'm not someone
You will rescue
Rather I'm the wreck
You will leave behind.

So when my heart breaks
Watching you look at me
In the rear view
I will tell myself.

That maybe this is the fate
Of a wildflower and a Vase.

struggling

No one sees the internal struggling.
The screams scratching their way up to the surface.
Endless nights crying an ocean into my pillow.
Everyone busy living lives while I am trapped inside my head.
Struggling.
Trying day after day to reach out only to be told that they are too busy to read my simple texts of despair or hear my whispers filled with screams.
"There will be better days ahead" is all I hear but my question is when?
When will those days come because all I can see are storm fog filled nights.
I am
Struggling.

PATIENCE is one virtue so rare
That is often missing in our daily affair

PATIENCE is a companion of wisdom
He who has it stands among kings in any kingdom
It is an habit that cannot be thrown out of the window
Without it lives you in a place of limbo

PATIENCE is not just how long we wait
But how we behave while we wait
It is a virtue of grace put together to make a pretty face
One year of patience equals ten years of peace

PATIENCE is the key to contentment
That locks every gate of resentment
One ounce of patience is more than pounds of brains
Investing in the bank of patience yield no loss but more gains

PATIENCE makes lighter what impatience may not heal
Driving through a narrow road but on a balance wheel
A heart fuel with patience drives with an unseen speed
It might be a soar fruit but with a sweet seed

PATIENCE is truly a virtue acquire it if you can
It will make you a good father,a better mother and a perfect human
"Patience," flapped the Butterfly's wings
"Patience," said Thomas Edison
"Patience," said Abraham Lincoln
"Patience," said the Diamond's sparkle
"Patience," said the Pearl's smoothness
"Patience," said Columbus' sailors
"Patience," the monks prayed
"Patience," the Mountains yawned
"Patience," Maturity recollected
"Patience," Healing nodded
"Patience," Insight demanded!
"Patience," winked the stars of the Milky Way
