Loyalty of Crow
How will I know
When I'm free to go
If I'm always thinking so
Self belief
Always low
I can't seem to find a flow
Oh no
I can't begin to grow
Was it the accident
All those years ago?
The dripping of melted snow
Blood, blood, blood
A doe
The overflow
The fear rushed through me
A foe
Family put in escrow
A tear drop falls
Whoa whoa whoa
The life I must forgo
An inch of life
I bestow
To the people that I owe
Who's eyes glitter and glow
Without saying a simple hello
I knew that I'd plateau
A love I'd never leave
Although
I'll always stay
Like they said
The loyalty of crow
Our very existence is a fascinating thing

Ghost
Last night I saw a ghost
It was raining
The streets lit up
I saw this ghost
It stood right in front of me
We exchanged meaningless glances
I saw in it my own reflection
Staring back at me
A ghost of myself from before
It haunts me
Wherever I go
Whoever I see
It follows
The past is constantly in a state of limbo between existence and non-existence

The End
Heart breaks, stomach aches
Throwing stones, breaking bones
Living life, free of strife

Moment makers, deal breakers
Starving lately, give it to me straightly
Life uprooted, final resort executed

No one around, no more frowns
Happy world, softly curled
The end of being, the start of meaning
There's peace in the end of the world

Fake Snow
Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter
Man’s cries, children's laughter
Leaving home, an infinite daughter
Maybe if I cared more, loved harder
If they didn't leave me, my mind altered
Then I wouldn't be here, a complete disaster
Crumbling like weak plaster

I am here after all
Waiting for that morning call
Worrying about a forever fall
Did I even have the gall?
To throw that curve-ball?
I’d never felt so small
Though I won't let it be my downfall
I'll come back again like rainfall

I am not who I was
I applied the gauze
Even though I was the cause
I never broke our laws
They sank into my, their razor-sharp claws
Straight to the bone, they gnawed
Then, suddenly, they paused
Started with their slow applause
A joke of the court, I was

So I told them no
They packed in their big show
Set off with precious cargo
All they were was fake snow.
