The ten speed biker was coasting down hill
about 20 MPH when he took a spill,
He's moving on, He's moving on!
He hit the brake a little too late, He's moving on!

The ten speed biker was do'n ok,
Till he an old Tom Cat got in his way,
He's mov'n on, he's a mov'n on.
He tried it to miss, but the ground he kissed,
He's mov'n on!

The 10 speed biker broke down in tears,
climbing up a hill he ran out of gears,
He's a-moving on, he's moving on.
He had to call his nurse, when he went in reverse,
He mov'n on, he's mov'n on!

The ten speed biker was a do'n  ok, till he saw a pretty girl,
and he looked her way, he's mov'n on, he's mov'n on.
His bike is a wreck and so is his neck, he's mov'n on.
(She wasn't worth look'n at  any way)

Welll, the ten speed biker was hav'n no trouble,
Till he tried to ride through a big mud puddle,
He's a mov'n on,
Now he's filthy sight, and so is his bike
But he'll soon be mov'n on, be a mov'n on.

The 10 speed biker hit a serious cog,
When he got chased by a mangy ol' dog,
He tried mov'n (faster) on,
But he ran of of luck, 'n got bit in the ****,
He's mov'n (a little slower) but he's still mov'n on.

[This next stanza was written by my 7 yr. old Grandson.)
The ten speed biker do'n 'bout 25  and didn't see
the  big hornet hive, he's moving on, he's mov'n on.
You could him cry'n "I think Im dy'n!
He's mov'n on, yeah mov'n on!

(This last stanza is a true experience when I was 65 yrs old)
The ten speed biker had good control, till he waved at a friend,
and ran off the road, he stopped mov'n on,  stopped mov'n on.
Now he's sett'n home with  broken ribs and a collar bone ,
He' NOT  mov'n on! yeah he's NOT NO LONGER MOV'N ON!

[I didn't have all these experiences, but wrote this poem to
an old country western song tune.   by G.E.Parson

Stars are falling
Into our sick sky

Dust becomes
Stardust

Flowing with
Starlight

I make fun of you

Don't you remember the good times

you're still mine

If you could
Would you. . .

You'd be there

I know

Stars are flying
Back into space

Far away

Leaving me
A plain
Sky
Without
A single star
To trace
You should have lived
A peaceful life,
Or at least
One with very minimal sorrows
What you got is death

You should have lived
A loving life
If not that
Then one where you at least knew what love tasted like
What you got was lungs filled with water

You should have lived
With your brother
If not that
Then i wish i could have warned you about it
What you two got was a painful death

You should have lived
To 19 this year
20 in march 15th
You should have lived to be two years older
But you didn't
You died with your brother

You should have lived
To bring joy into peoples hearts like you always did
If not that
You being here would be enough for me
That you got was your last day on earth

Today i remember
The short life you lived
And how great it was
And today i learn to let you go, just a little bit,
To let you finally rest in peace

I wish i could
Replace you and your brothers life
With mine
Because above all things
You should have lived
today, on January 10th, 2016, my friend and his brother died in a kayaking accident. two years ago i lost a friend and I'm still dealing with the loss. today is forever going to be a sad day for me, but i will try to have a nice  tomorrow.

Q
So this journey has come to an end
Whether you don’t know me at all
Or think of me as your best friend
This is my goodbye, my final call.

Thank you for the adventure; thank you for your time. I have nothing left to give, no words left to rhyme. This is my last, I’ll leave with a whisper. This is all I have, what I began writing for.

Should you ever neeed a shoulder, please find me. No matter where I go in life, where you need me is where I’ll be. Hold me tightly in your thoughts and I will hold you in my heart.

Merry meet, dear rhymers, and merry part.
This is the last of my poetry. Thank you for sticking it out with me for the past four years. I've decided to focus on other goals I have since my life is essentially falling apart. Poetry was an outlet for me, but it more feels like another way to indulge my burgeoning escapism.

So, I've decided to take away the place I escape to so I can relearn how to face problems head on. I've got a lot of self-adjustments to make in the near future and this is just one of them.

Of course, if I am contacted on HP, I'll come flying back to respond because it's been home for years, but I will (most likely, hopefully, probably) no longer post here.

Again: Thank you for the fond memories,
Q.

Deep below the surface,
of a sea stormy and frenetic;
lies buried an ancient relict,
once radiant but now pathetic.
It is a long ago sunken ship
the mast and canvas rotten.
The stern revealing injuries,
that are not yet forgotten.
It once carried adventurers,
looking for brand new land;
But now it's decrepit and cursed,
never to reach a strand.
But if you would look closer,
to the shattered and mouldered deck,
you would see the dissembled treasure,
that waits to be found within every wreck.
No matter how broken we are, we all have a treasure within us that just waits to be found. So keep on looking for it within others!

When the world comes crashing in,
Washing over you like the tide;
When you have nothing left to win,
And want to give up on your fight.

When you can't see a spark of light,
After days of pouring rain;
When you keep on saying you're alright,
While your heart is forced to bane.

When you have no one to hold onto tight,
Because life has left on you its mark;
When you can't look on the bright side,
I will sit with you in the dark.
If you ever feel lonely, remember there is someone to sit with you in the dark:)
The headache i have
Never stands a chance with the pain in my heart
Id rather feel pain physically
Where i can take a pill
and it all goes away
But if someone else needed that pill
Id gladly deal with the pain

The aching of my hand
Is a pain i welcome
Because it shows that I've done something special
I used my hand for good
If carpal tunnel is the price i pay
to do good in the world
Then the price will be payed

The pain in my heart
It stays even though a pill is taken
Even though i try my best to get rid of it
My heart is too broken
But if the pain in my heart
Can help someone
Could heal someones pain

Then ill use the pain
Ill take the pain
And ill help them heal theirs
If this poem is the pill
And my words are the cure
Then let my pain come
I welcome it
*i did not mean illegal drugs, and prescription drugs in the first paragraph. i meant over the counter drugs* its not the best poem ive written but... its a poem
