Sometime in wordless
prayer, a moon was trapped,
Eerily the neck breaks.

*

Everyday you were
moving away like sun from
all my being exiled.

*

You don't say goodbye.
Seared, I will hear the hissing
sound of blue flames.
Accidentally in love.
Purposely broken.
Undeniably unknown.
Questionably sane.
Increasingly resilient.
Undone in every way.
It’s okay
I just want
to leave
my mark
on the world.

Love, don’t be afraid
We’ve all gone places we cannot hide,
Written stories we won’t deny,
But look at us,
Living. Tonight,
Alive.
Polymath Siren,
her flower returns

New stirrings to write
new melody to learn

Renaissance memory,
its present announced

Freeing your psyche,
past-future recount

Polymath harlot,
  love pledged again

Petals now varied,
spread from within

Bouquet filled enigma,
here until gone

Leaving always one seedling
—to finish her song

Once a writer, always a writer.
Forgive me if I question this now
I lost my words- I wish I knew how.
Time makes one lose words.
I wish I could write the same way again.
I feel as though I lost a part of me I can never regain.
Nothing here to see
Just you and me
Sitting in a tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
Loving and fronting
Just you and me
High on life
Up in the trees
