Beauty

What is the definition of beauty
Many have wondered the same
We use this word often but seldom know what it means

People say beauty is on the outside
The shape or tone of your body
****** characteristics and hair
Maybe even the color of your eyes

Others will say it's on the inside
How caring and geniune you are
The intelligence of someone
Or it could be your affection

I will say although I can not define it
I have witnessed true beauty
I realise the definition of beauty is you

Fall

Let's walk through nature on a fall day
See the colorful leaves of autumn play

The cool wind in our hair as we hold hands
The air so crisp blowing across the land

The crunch of our footsteps on the fallen leaves
We walk off the path and dance with the trees

As the Sun goes down and the moon rises
I put my arms around you and listen for surprises

We lay down ready for slumber
The days of fall bring such wonder
If only, if only

Stress came to me
and asked for a relationship
But shaking hands,
I friendzoned stress!
It doesn't hurt this way, instead provides a better environment to learn and grow.
Stress is good "if we don't think it as bad"

A man abandoned
is a man given warning
to find himself!
Life can be sunshine
On peaceful days with bright blue skies.
It can be like raindrops, squeezed from tearful eyes.
Life can be the heaven, that can be only reached through hell.
You will not know you are happy,
Unless you have been sad,
Life you teach hard lessons,

Which makes me wiser today.
Because roses too, need both sunshine and
A touch of rain to blossom.
Life always surprises us, difficult times teach us lessons of life. life is a teacher.keep learning

Sad truth.

Isn't it weird
How
When kittens are born
They are afraid of us
It's almost
As if
They knew
That the world
Was a cruel place
Even before they were born
They knew
We were not to be trusted
It's sad
That they
Were born
With fear in them
It's sad
That we cannot
Do anything now
To change it

I talk to myself
A lot

Maybe It's because I know,
That I'm the only one
Who will talk to me

Only I understand what I'm saying

I'm sorry.
For the way I've been.
Like you said, I'm a sailboat in the middle of an ocean.
Water surrounding me on all sides.
Knowing, there is no way out.
I watch the days turn to nights, and nights to days.
The cycle goes on forever.
Sometimes the moons light gives me hope.
But the clouds cover over it,
Just as I was beginning to get hopeful.
Sometimes I like to curl up in my little boat,
and count the stars at night.
But I never make it to the end,
Just like how I won't in this world.
But I see you,
In the distance,
Coming towards me in your strong ship.
You're coming to rescue me.
But the waves are too strong,
And they take you away from me.
So I sit back down once again,
And stare at the night sky,
Waiting for the clouds to shift.
This poem is dedicated to my best friend and our friendship which is slowly crumbling, no matter how hard we try to put it back together.
This is also a reply poem to the one she wrote to me first.
