With forked tongues we spoke a fallacy

A grande farce in spite of all that was true

We were mere stepping stones guiding each other's souls towards there path

And No matter our hearts true intent the twines of time winded us slowly back into the fabrics of its reality

We were but beacons lighting the way with false hope and broken promises

unbeknownst to even ourselves we became grand catalyst sparking change in our ever shifting world.

My heart yearns for that which burns me up inside.
The warmth of such fires draw me to there strange pull.
For I am the earth waiting to be scorched and forever changed by its presence.
Knowing A New life is given shape from the ashes,
as if springing upwards to express its defiance.
I am a wick carrying the fires light onward into the unforeseen.
Perpetually in motion until my vessel can no longer withstand its exertion.

I've made such efforts to forget,
to forget the sun soaked sheets in the early summer mornings

and of the way our eyes would meet after sweet symphonies of dreams divine.

Attempts To erase the savory smells of morning coffee, shared smiles and skylit kisses in the garden

Or of The warm sounds your feet made when they traversed the oak floors as if saying follow us we'll lead you to the light.

And they did, they led me to the sun, Where it kissed my skin and bones as if gracing me with an endless summer.

And Yet I still retrogress back to memories of the winter rain resting easy as it glistened on the soft pastel rose petals

So much like the way our eyes held passion in the beginning

And still I couldn't forget and cast away such an exquisite chapter filled with beauty passion and love

for those are the memories and experiences in which our true selves are forged. And I'm almost who I'm meant to be.

I've been sinking slowly beneath these winter waves for far to long.
Gasping for breathe and a glimpse at the fading December sky.
Pleading internally for some sign of intervention.
As if speaking with only eyes and communicating that which seems like an inevitability.
Gripping hands pull me asunder into the oceans embrace,
Far to deep to see anything but the last fading lights of the world above.
I've succumb to its caress after what seemed like aeons and said my farewells to what was.

I swear There's something in the weather.
I can feel it swelling beneath my skin.
And sometimes words strung together
Are ten times better than the darkness hidden where they've been.
Haunting Vibrations send a false alarm reminding oneself to breathe it in,
I never said we'd see forever only that I'd be waiting at the end.

I miss her like the smell of the sweet ocean air the day after you've departed back to land locked monotony or the subtle sounds of the forest when city life is all that encompasses you.
As if she's a ship that's long since set sail for distant shores never to return, I stare off into the sunset gazing endlessly into the sea of shattered glass hoping to see some reflection of what was.
Much like the waves ever shifting, my thoughts circulate infinitely and in this small moment of clarity I find solace.
