I think I keep checking up on people because I subconsciously wish they'd do the same.

she wanted to
be his escape

someplace he
could get lost

someplace with
no direction

or destination

someplace too
dark to see

where all speech
is touch

but she offered
him too much

so he never
wanted to leave

and thus it was

that she had to
break him

Sonorant
Weeping Winter
Deigns his spine
In small whispers of magic.

The fingers of a ghost
He Almost
Mourned the loss of them.

Until he tastes
The fruit of rot.
And felt
Old daggers in the dark.

Like a drop of dew
In Summer heat,
He recedes towards the Sun

To await the Winter Mourn
And scorn
A mother of her forgotten son.

To cry

To open the emotional flood gates and let it flow
Drowning your pain
Washing out our heart and soul
Ready for a new start

To sleep
To slumber
To dream

Creation a world of pure imagination
Where even the craziest of wishes can come true
Love
Life
Heroes
Villians
A dream is what you make it

To sleep
To slumber
To dream

A world of pure fancy
Fun and true
Exploring the mind’s pathways

To sleep
To slumber
To dream

I cut myself daily
Mentally
Physically
Emotionally

The physical cuts
Watching the healing flow of blood
Pour from my veins
Cleansing my soul

The emotional cuts
Never thinking I’m good enough
Calling myself stupid
Trying and failing
Time and again
Feeling lost
Feeling afraid
Feeling unwanted

The mental cuts
My mind bringing up things from the past
Laughing and taunting of bullies
Being yelled at
Being rejected
Getting beat up
Things that happened years ago
Put the mind can not
Nay
Will not forget

I cut myself daily
Mentally
Physically
Emotionally

Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
