Taste the Sky
Xhyn Jun 2015
Soar to the stars,

And sleep on the moon.

Taste the sky,

And conquer the night.

Feel the air all around you,

And breathe.

And feel alive again.

Delicate are its wings,
Of fire and of gold.
It spreads them wide,
Them wings so old.
And when it flies,
The winds are moved.
For it is life,
And it is proved.

Cliff
Xhyn Jun 2015
As I stand before the cliff,

I look back and wonder.

As I stop and take a whiff,

I smell fear, hear thunder.

As I stand in swirls of pain,

My head goes blank in sheer grief.

As from clouds pelt loudly rain,

Lightning strikes a moment brief.

As I stand atop the green,

I am drenched in misery.

As I saw the unforeseen,

My head goes fairly dizzy.

As I stand before the cliff,

As far I can I lunge.

As though a rock I'm scared stiff,

Not long before I plunge.

Rain

The sky cries loudly,
Its tears pelting on the Earth.
It weeps with sadness.

White Fluff
Xhyn Jun 2015
I look up in the sky,

White fluff moves slowly by.

When I stare hard enough,

I know its weird - go on, laugh.

But I feel like I'm light and moving,

And there's no way in proving.

I look again and imagine,

And imagine and imagine.

My mind starts to wonder.

And also to wander.

I wonder what clouds taste like,

Water vapour to dislike.

More like cotton candy,

Tasting nice and dandy.

I imagine jumping on the stuff,

Eating slowly fluff by fluff.

But I can't reach that high,

And I wish that I could fly.

The impossible happens then,

And the impossible is when,

From my shoulder blades sprouts wings,

Fragile, delicate, lovely things.

They spread out behind me,

And I feel forever free.

I flap them,

I fold them,

Try them out for the first time.

I look to the sky, shiny as a dime.

I take a breath deep,

And a brave leap.

I struggle first and almost fall,

It was definitely a close call.

But I managed to untangle,

And fly first at an awkward angle.

After that I twist and turn,

And the sun's rays make my eyes burn.

Soon I'm flying to the crowds

Of the ever fluffy clouds.

Evil
Xhyn Jun 2015
I hear it coming after me,
Sighing loud with all depression.
I feel its sadness engulf me,
Making darkness my obsession.
I smell its fear, I taste its fear,
Its loudly creeping saddened jeers.
I see the fog hover before,
It clouds my eyes, fills it with tears.
