We send the Wave to find the Wave—
An Errand so divine,
The Messenger enamored too,
Forgetting to return,
We make the wise distinction still,
Soever made in vain,
The sagest time to dam the sea is when the sea is gone—

Sorry I have not been able to
be on site for a while.
The lady who I'm writing a book
with has been quite ill.
I WILL BE READING TODAY!

27th. August. 2014

Once, a promise..

Stronger, kinder and wiser..

A silent seeker..

Today, a creed..

Tenacious, gracious and sagest..

A singing sophist..

Love knows what is best for us
She is the sagest guide
She drifts thee to thy destination
Like an ocean wide

Love knows what is best for us
Her mind exquisite, rare
She gives her counsel to one and all
Who dwell within her care

Love knows what is best for us
Love knows what is right
She readies us for tomorrow
And prepares us for the fight

Without love's sweet stewardship
Life becomes distressing
So listen to her velvet voice
Her insights are a blessing

Love can be demanding
Love can be a test
But after all is said and done
It’s true that love knows best
A woman is a gem of priceless value
The man who has this sagest retinue
Shall ever  hold her diamond of fondness
His joyful heart being truly fortunate
She'll afford him such a beloved sate
Her affection's treasure so deep of well
He'll be hearing love's enduring sweet bell
On them coming together in closeness
Two souls merging as fairest sun-lit day
A union of one their twining display
Her beautiful stone embraced by he
Telling the story of mutual attraction
On each other making an impaction
The understanding the facets of she

What was meant to be a good thing
and a unifying factor here at HP
has become a disaster for me
personally. And I guess I must
have hurt feelings which I
absolutely did not intend to do!

The outcome of the Lovefest Contest
received only one like. And that was
from illegitimate no more who won.
I therefore can only conclude that
folks are upset.

I want, therefore, to apologize to the
other contestants of the contest.
Amanda in Scarlet
The Sagest Assuager
Winn
I have sent messages to them
personally as well.

My reasons for choosing the poet
I did I felt to be right. I still do.
The entire reason for the contest
was to encourage young and
new writers. People who may hurt.
To give encouraging support.

But even a good thing can be
misconstrued. I sure didn't want to
"diss" anyone. Once again
I apologize.

I have hereby cancelled
Lovefest Contest 2

Coming from poverty by design, bloodline on the outside
Cold hearted world offers little in the way of placement
Home son, I was told is what you make it
I made a promise to myself early to better my living arrangements
Hostility in the homeland broke the best and huddled the rest
Is it really better?
What was then a haven has become the slums the government doesn't see the point in saving
Displacing everyone, non-discriminatory meaning they **** any and all races
The projects unfinished
Supposed to be stepping stone temporary digs though some never made it out
The image faded out
Cave em in,
Raze it, redevelopment
Resurrection is the aim of betterment
Hear the hatred in my cadences
There goes the neighborhood to micro brews and vape toting middle age
Dousche bags and ironic hat patronage
Grandmama left Brooklyn
Saying **** ain't been the same since the hipsters took it
Where's the history? Look at the back bay nothing ethnic left in the marketplace
Fairy tales are rarely destiny
Not every step leads to promenades some only bring you closer to misery
As for me
I'm no longer in need but the thought of the hunger is not escaping me
My sagest dreams faded in static clouded space
In other words
I'm losing sleep
My conscience is a ******* thief, crooked like the reason my gramma don't play her numbers
Unlucky heard in symphony
We took the scars with open arms with the promise of a fortune she most likely won't live to see
When I bought my humble home and hung a diploma carefully it meant more than blood
We sweat no tears, expectations fallen over the past years
I promised
It's all open pastures if we just make it past here

I found my safest, sagest guide
When once my sorry soul had died
There was nothing of it left
Of life it was savagely bereft
But ending my soul’s stark December
She kindled, fanned and stoked the embers
That burned at the bottom of my sad soul’s pyre
Her forcefulness sparked and spread the fire
Warming me throughout my core
I didn't feel dead any more
My lucky life now filled with jest
And I tackle it with zeal and zest
I have grown quite amorous, fond
Of our special, divine bond
Electric, it kindles in my heart
And lives once more again in art

This Life is hardly over -
A stature blossoms tall -
Elusive - as a mystery -
But material - as wall -
Life riddles - and it riffs -
Theology - we guess -
And by a beckon finally -
Wisdom - truly show -
To imagine - it baffles sagest monks -
To yield it - we to Valhalla go -
Disdain of - thoughtful public -
To loss of babes - our woe -
Devotion tumbles - picks herself up -
Swoons - should any care -
Yielding truth's blossom -
Sings her exquisite blare -
And implores a compass - which way?
Mimes answer - to the crowd -
Fierce praises rumble - roll -
Yet anodyne - can't sully -
Pain - that mind appal -

— The End —
