The moment when you start skipping everywhere you go,
and can't stop smiling,
and just can't contain the giggles
and start jumping around and dancing, even in the rain,
and start singing like the birds in the morning,
and the optimism seeps into your voice
like a dollop too much of cherry cough syrup,
you know you are loved.

I hate time zones.

I guess...
Maybe...
I'm not enough.
But I will always try to be...
Just to make you happy,
to make you smile.

To you, I don't have an opinion any more.

Why did you abandon me when I needed you most?

It watched, it came.
My death began at my birth.

I thought I had a friend.
It left me too.

How can I be at peace when you're not around?

It's the quiet ones that you should be terrified of.

It's the old mean girls who will fade away someday.

I'm missing out on my anime
just to talk to you.

The only crime I can really accuse you of is stealing my heart.

It's the nerds and the geeks who will further develop this world we live in.

Its the ones who care about you, not the ones that don't, who will last the longest.

It's the boys with the sweetest words, the cheesiest pickup lines, and the cutest shows of affection who will win me over.

Late night confessions,
aching of your strong arms
and stirring up thoughts from the deepest parts of the hell your mind runs-
Things that shouldn't be awaken, ever.

The quiet that settles into your skin,
Your steady breath hitching
on every wandering ghost
that runs across your scarred mind.

Turning inside out,
Going delusional with fear
never letting the sleep take you,
sitting up in the pitch black
trying to find your way
and not seeing anything else but you.

You're alone.

It's too cold...
I can't breathe...
I am drowning...

Where are you?

Whispering the solace,
whistling the blues,
whittling tears.

Sin like an angel.

And then there's me.

Come back to me later.

It's too late to care.

You cheated me out of living.

Whatever happened to all of us?

Maybe I do this
To escape.

Don't mess with hard-core otakus.

But you are more important than me.

Everything leads back to you in the end.

The know-it-all's don't really know it all.

"Get over here, brat!" Levi hollered at me from across the room, with that permanent scowl and annoyed voice. I prance over to the table he stood over and studied the map he had laid out in front of him.

"What do you think of this?" he asked me. I continued staring at the map. it showed titans coming in, now closer to the walls than they ever had been before; the titans were getting braver.

"We have to scare them away. Look! I made this new potion that when thrown on a titan's face, will explode and make a fog over the titan's face, confusing the titan and making it easier for the scouts to **** the titan. Let's try it out when we go scare the titans away!" I exclaimed with fervor and grinned excitedly.

"Problem, four-eyes. Everyone is either dead or has left for vacation." Levi stared at me, matter of factly.

"Well, we'll get them all together! It's time to kick some titan-***!"

Levi snickered at me. But he always does that anyway.
What was I thinking attacking with only the two of us. I'm always prepared to die, but not today. Today will be different.

"Four-eyes, there's only twenty of them. We can do this with your new potion stuff. Your brain's inane like them. You probably knew them the best. I believe in you brat." Levi gave me that uplift despite the sarcasm.

We planned out our pattern strategically. Usually it'll be easy with eight men. But I need to uphold his trust. His beliefs.

The first explosion went perfectly, grazed the titan's face but his nose exploded. And we killed him in a second. We managed to skewer more than we expected. Explosions within seconds, titan growled in agony as they fell to their demise. Suddenly something flew up in the air.

"Run hanji!!! This ******* can fly!!!"

I lurch away just in time as the titan snapped his jaw right where I was at. I maneuver around, trying to get away, killing titans left and right. It still trails behind me and I run.

"Levi! What do I do?!?!" I holler to him.

"Figure it out, four eyes! I'm busy!" Levi hollers back as he kills a titan. I glance back at the flying titan, trying to think of a way to outmaneuver it. Hmm 15m class, wing span of maybe 20m, two capable legs and two arms, vulnerable neck, but wings help it fly... can we use its flying ability against it?

I throw a potion at the things head and maneuver my way into a building window. It follows me, right where I want it to, and the potion explodes in its face, so it blindly reaches forward. I maneuver out a nearby window and slice its throat as it stays face first into the side of the building, confused on where I went and what it's seeing. It roars, then slumps down, dead. I make a mental note to come back here and inspect this new titan later, but for now, I run towards the other titans, ready for the bloodshed to come.

Spinning,
Spinning,
Topsy turvy,
Curly,
Whoopsies.

Falling,
Falling,
Falling,
To the bottom
We go.

In ruins,
We cherish,
In tears,
We rush,
In murders,
We trust.

Bitten once,
Stabbed twice,
Crying still,
You call me thrice.

Curse the horrifying heavens
That braise us and raise us
For we have sinned
And truly need help.

Wisdom says that your thoughts shall grow,
But who said wisdom is the one to trust?
Don't listen to nonsense,
Failure is the best remedy, child.

Restricted claustrophobic sociopaths,
Beckoning upon the naïve,
But with arrival,
Flourishes of blooming impending death.

just wanted to tell you,

Because when the darkness falls
Everything dies,
All the laughter will dissipate,
The smiles will fade away,
And the warmth will dissolve.
All that is left to do
Is surrender to the darkness
That falls
Letting it carry us down to dream lands,
Where night fairies come out to play
And whisper secrets into our ears.
Sometimes they turn into demons,
hoarsely approaching and letting terror crawl into our
mouths and ears and eyes.

But sometimes we don't have to face the silence.
Not anymore.
We can stand tall,
Refuse the demons
As the ashen world is lit
With electricity.
It runs through the world,
A rushing wildfire,
Dying and bursting here and there like sparks of fire brightly illuminating our world.
We don't have to face the danger of the nights alone anymore,
For now we have the best sword yet-
Electricity.
And we'll smile and laugh,
Keep going deep into the night even as the danger calls outside our protective shield of electricity.

The thing is
its not that you left
I dont mind that you've gone to go find yourself
to explore things you've never seen
to escape this hellhole

Its that you didn't take me with you

I'm sitting here,
quiet.
observant.
Everyone is abuzz, high on freedom,
Everyone,
such a vague word.
The Fab Five,
The Dark Side,
The Invasive Species,
The Nerds,
The ******* *******,
The Everyone Else.
All talking
          and talking
                    and talking...
Unable to see the depressed face nearby,
the pushed around,
the true sadness that hides beneath a blanket
but still has small slips through the seams.

But the scary thought is,
I'm here with all my "friends"
but I've never felt so alone before.
