M Tamura
Absconded and stolen an unchangeable minute in time
You've taken all the answers, all but the pain.
This sorrow lies distasteful and lingering like a hangover.
I've come full circle
The questions are the answers
Turn up the silence think on it no more.

Covet me with comfort in your voice
I wait to listen see the sound
Delight sweeps across our faces
the scent of your full lips
pressed hot against mine
Have I ever been this close to another?
To find myself in your eyes
To find you in my eyes
Our gaze like two seas
symmetrical with no boundaries
where one ends the other begins
Lead me I want nothing more
Hold me I need nothing more
I'm happiest gazing at you
My love my Master

fallow thoughts, sorrows wallow
already tasting tomorrow's shallow swallow
fallen breath is all that's to follow
smallest hope, almost hollow

aye
little talks exchanged between two wandering strangers.
a girl who smiles at him to unravel love's dangers.
hearts that beat with no feeling.
fingers that touch, skin that's cold, and peeling.

big talks exchanged between the wiser and the younger.
a boy who avoids her smile in order to become stronger.
hearts that beat within confined sealing.
hands that join, then part, and forget feeling.

loving whispers that wander about in a crowd.
their love for each other was too skinny to be loud.
hearts that beat.
something, then nothing, and repeat.

aye
his hands feel warm and gentle.
his heart beats steadily.
his breathing is forever even.
his eyes are ocean calm.
his lips are soft...or are they rough?

love makes me faint.
it feels heavy on my shoulders.

My heart's a wristwatch
The spiel keeps spinning
I follow it with my eyes
The gears turn and click
And
I want to turn it over
Turn it back, like stones
But
The sheets stay blank
No matter how many words
I spin together beneath my eyelids
My mason jar is still full of you
It tastes like raspberries
And
Forest floors
When I asked you to look inside my mouth to see if they stained my cheeks red
Your face found the cool side of the pillow
And
Your laughter fell into it
The shade of blue
On the wall reminds me
Of fireflies falling out of our mouths
I wanted to swallow them
And
Glow from the inside out with you
