In a box
trapped in a box
of darkened despair
no escape to light
feel deprived
no oxygen to breathe
so tight struggle
in your deepest darkest
hour
its a daunting struggle
of a darkened world
in a box
so cold chill as ice
hearts so cold dull
saddened of the fear
crippling with terror
as you shed that lonely tear
in a box
deepened by those thoughts
fighting to escape
for just that bit of air
body trembles just for that
little light
to seek from this box of
dark despair
in a box
so alone so alone
in that darkest hour
just wanting that little air to breathe
just that little light to shine
in the world deep dark despair

In A Box

I fear...

Never fully living life
Falling short of my potential
Lacking self-esteem
Failing to learn
Not being enough
A closed heart

Yes,
these of some of my fears

Inspired by The Emerald Outcast
They say the eyes are the
     window to the soul,
        I say looking through
can make you lose control.
     Climb through to depths
            you can't imagine
        and you'll discover
   the sunshine within,
        and a love so **genuine.

Hey its me
Im the thing on your face
I make you feel like a disgrace
Make you want to hide
You try an cover me up but I still show
What you dont want people to know
You don't want them to see me
How does it feeling knowing I control the day
You try an think of ways to get ride of me
If you touch me ill cause you pain
Like your showering in acid rain
Remove me before im ready an ill scar your face
And the memory of me will never fade away
Let me run my course
Then ill go away
And sit underneath the surface
Until its time for me to come out an play
